I used to live in Thailand for 4 months in 2018, after my university graduation from the UK, the muslim community in Thailand and other parts of South East Asia are like no other communities around the world, heart of pure gold, hospitality, friendly, non-judgemental, respectful, and they smiles are like diamonds that will melt our hearts. Chiang Mai, north Thailand, deep in the mountains, a hospitable elderly Thai Muslim lady invited me to her halal restaurant, she knew I was a muslim, to serve the best delicious halal Thai beef noodles, and I always visit their restaurant ever since. Great memories. There is also Chiang Mai mosque, sweet elderly Thai vendors selling samosas and other delicacies, made by heart, which is why their snacks are delicious! I will also visit Thailand again in August, in the north part, to visit them again and meet other Muslim communities I have met. I would recommend you visit Chiang Mai in the north, peaceful, relaxed, chilled, great mountains and villages, it will be a memorable experience!

Thanks for the nice information about Thailand. I love it. I subscribed your channel and also shared many people in my group. Thanks again. Allah hafiz.
I have been to many countries but no one can beat thai hospitality. They r the bst. If u wish to cover more variety of halal food do visit karabi region specially aonang. U ill love it . They have got a huge variety of halal street food. In phuket specially at patong beach u ill get awesome labanies food. Phiphi also have a full Muslim community. In phuket there is special a muslim fishing village that is must visit for u guys. U guys r doing amazing job btw.
Muslim Fishing Village? Are you referring to Koh Panyee close to James Bond Island? Phi Phi Island is generally a party island but there is a good Muslim community especially at Koh Phi Phi Don where there is a masjid there. Krabi is a great Muslim destination in Thailand. I have travelled to over 35 countries myself including visiting Thailand 4 times. Koh Lanta in Krabi Province is majority Muslim Island and so is Koh Yao Noi too. Even Koh Lipe in the deep south close to the Malaysia border has a bit of Muslim community too.. Phuket isn't great especially around Patong area but there are definitely Halal places and masjids around the island - I stayed in Kata Beach area which was better
Voh lamha bht acha laga ke tm behno se bat kar rahe te zabardast ap bht ache ho ap ka hasbet be peary he mashaalla ap ka jora salamat rahe tomara dostdar from iran chabahar
Being from the UK born and bred of Pakistani heritage, I have been to Bangkok twice and definitely been to the masjids featured in the video with Haroon Masjid being the most recognised masjid but there are a few more masjids that I have visited which were nice. Each masjid has a halal market/ food stalls close by. Bangkok is an amazing Muslim-friendly city for Muslim tourists but I would visit Southern Thailand such as Phuket and Krabi which has a significant Muslim population especially Krabi. Halal food and masjids are everywhere in Krabi Province. In terms of Bangkok, I would avoid lively areas at night such as Khaosan Road and Soi Cowboy but definitely do other tourist places like Chinatown, Lumphini Park, Asiatique Riverfront, Chao Praya River Cruise (night and day), Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, sky observation decks on Baiyoke Tower and King Mahanakhon Building
I'm also a British born Pakistani too, I've been to Bangkok, wouldn't stay for long, but in the north parts of Thailand, Chiang Mai, the mosque, lots of halal food, muslim communities are everywhere, one of the most hospitable, respectful, friendly communities I've ever seen. Chiang Mai is relaxed, peaceful and chilled.
@@saiftravelschina That is awesome I have been to Thailand 4 times myself and I agree that Bangkok should be 3 days maximum but I have travelled to mainly the Gulf of Thailand (Koh Tao, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan) and Southern Thailand (Phuket, Krabi/Ao Nang/Railey, Koh Phi Phi, Kph Lanta, Koh Yao Noi and Koh Lipe) and I am planning one more trip to Thailand to visit the northern parts like Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai as well as Koh Kood and Koh Chang. I do enjoy travelling to South East Asian countries where I have been to some countries like Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia more than once
@@brothersman524 South East Asia is best for travelling. I just went to Cambodia nearly 2 months ago, I've seen some small community of the muslim community at the mosque, some migrants from Pakistan who moved there long ago, it's amazing how hospitable they are. Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, I've been there and never get bored of travelling. I recently visited Pakistan in January, first time travelling there alone, last visit was 14 years ago, it's good to visit many cities and attractions in Pakistan, meeting friends in general, well the ones who are also travellers like me, but the holiday vibes will not be as same as South East Asia, in terms of making great friends from the hostels, doing group activities, going on a day trip, there is nothing that you will ever get bored of!
@@saiftravelschina I've only been to Pakistan once and it was a long time ago but I am thinking of going there again in the near future. Cambodia is on my bucket list but I've just recently visited Vietnam for the first time which is good although Halal food was difficult to find there - however, I did find a few Muslim communities in Ho Chi Minh City and they served Halal food on the Halong Bay Cruise that I did. Pakistan has some good places to visit but nothing in comparison to South East Asia. As well as visiting Thailand 4 times, I did Malaysia 6 times, Singapore 3 times, Indonesia and Philippines twice each, Brunei once (especially when I explored the Borneo part of Malaysia on my 6th visit) and now Vietnam. I am planning one more trip to Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia plus Cambodia for the first time. South East Asia has everything: jungles, mountains, flora, fauna, different cultures and religions, megacities with amazing skyscrapers and so on. Many Muslims from the UK only go to Arab speaking countries like Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Oman and also go to Turkey but barely anyone go to South East Asia which is so rich in culture and diversity so they do need to venture out
@@brothersman524 I left the UK in 2018 after university graduation, ended up travelling to South East Asia for 6 months, met a random guy from the US in Malaysia, who told me about teaching in China, saving up and travel a lot, which I took that decision from there, and moved to China to work as an English teacher. 5 years later, I'm still working as an English teacher in a primary school in China, I cannot complain about the salary and less workload, more free time to myself, lots of holidays, one month winter holiday and two months summer holidays, plus public holidays which is amazing, enough time to travel to South East Asia, Korea, Japan. I used to visit UAE every year (personal and family), it's nothing new to me. For Muslims in the UK, they would rather travel nearby like Morocco and other countries you've mentioned. I won't travel there, because South East Asia is best for travels, you will never get bored. Rent a motorcycle and travel around wherever you want!
