- Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh Character Roulette! Each week @MBTYuGiOh and I will spin a wheel to build a deck from packs featuring cards used by anime characters throughout Yu-Gi-Oh's history, and then we’ll craft 1 card of each rarity from our pack to round out our decks. After a character’s pack wins the match it’s removed from the wheel, while the losing pack is given a second chance at victory! Tune in every weekend for new episodes of Character Roulette!

Ehhh, I feel like Battlewasps are still pretty in-theme for Weevil. Inzektors a little less so but like they're still insects
fwiw, I had no inherent problem with MBT playing Lab last episode
EDIT: Mischief of the Time Goddess turning back on HOPT effects because of how it works is very funny and sounds like it would be a hype anime moment
In the anime he's introduced as insector Haga so the inzektors are at least tenuously connected to Weevil

I know he won the third match, but Doug could've ended it faster if he tributed Channeler for Queen with Swallow's Nest. Queen would've been 2800, knocking MBT from 3500 to 700, then Cowboy for game.
tbf, MBT also misplayed by not making the Swamp Mirrorer WIND since then it'd also benefit off of the Harpie Lady 1s buff

Doug's absolute refusal to play Conductor or Phantasmal Dragon even when he pulls them lol. We need Doug to play Harpies when he does NOT pull Cyber Slash and doesn't craft her either lol.

To encourage playing the characters cards more, what if you said the crafts you got had to be from that characters card pool/ archetype.
Yet to watch this but if ride of the valkyries (the song) isn’t played when the card is during the episode it will be a waisted opportunity

The Valkyrie pack is so bad... but we love it because it's so entertaining every time it manages to do something. Watching Joseph win that game 2 was fun.

I wonder if you could have squeezed in the Egyptian God pack with Marik or something. He does use the slime cards and he did own all the God cards at one point. Hell, if you consider the rare hunters to also be Marik then exodia fits him too.

I think Inzector is actually based off Weevil, considering he focuses his deck on equipping insects with equip cards as well as literally being called Insector Haga in Japan

@@DzeeffI mean you and farfa complained lab was too strong after 10 packs in saga, 20 packs of a meta deck against anime packs is maybe a tiny bit unbalanced
the pack contains golden castle, ancient warriors and fairy tails I wouldn't wish that pack on my greatest enemy the chance you pull a playable deck is not great and the chance of pulling a playable golden castle deck is lower than being struck by lighting 10 times in a row in antarctica

Could be better if the bad deck the loses and goes back to the wheel, if a player spins it again they get to use all of the cards the last person unlocked when they played it. That way the bad decks can't be bad forever and get slowly better.
Nah, but then they would have to craft everything they need from the other person's pool.
@@patchworkgolemThey could make the rule only apply if the same person pulls the pack twice. That way, at least the same person won't have to keep losing with the same deck.

Mischief of the Time Goddess was extremely hard to implement in EDOPro not entirely because of difficulty to code it, but because it did not receive rulings until it released in OCG, and EDOPro runs on OCG rules. A lack of rulings is the same reason why Clock Lizard took so long.

This is proof that yugiboomers are a cancer that must be stopped. Decades of Master Roulette cannot be wrong about rerolls. No rerolls means people are doomed to play garbage and get gaped as opposed to shooting for the two highest powered matchups and landing somewhere in the middle. Removing fun and interactive decks returns us to a world where some decks tset and pass on turn one and other decks OTK you. Go watch that lab harpies matchup, it was actually really close and fun even though lab has an insane resource loop and tell me this was better.
Very excited to watch every archetype eventually beat valkeries to be free from the wheel.
Jokes aside this series slaps, I love it.
Lets all agree that everything was fine before the changes (except the no rerolls) so that we never have to watch this god awful deck again

Thanks, commenters, I was looking forward to the insect pack. Poor crawly bois seem to be doomed to never get a spotlight. Though wasn't there a dude that played Battlewasps in some season? So maybe we will see them at some point.
But oh well. Maybe now we can watch Joseph enter his german arc. Imagine he keeps getting the Valk pack now and gets better and better with the deck every time. At the end of this series he becomes THE Valk master and trashtalks Doug in fluent german.

The three to add off the search are, channeler harpest and whatever spell typically an extra egotist if you have extra deck options If not, it’s the trap.
Misplay in game three if you discarded perfumer, you would’ve been able to summon pet dragon and then Oracle and hit elegant twice
