The lyrics sum it up: Gonna pack my bags and move on my way 'Cause I got a worried mind sharin' what I thought was mine Gonna leave her where the guitars play
RUclips, please don't mess with these people. I have an emotional attachment to them. I love what they do. I honestlyfeel they provide a service and share something that is helpful.
Hey Brad and Lex....If you ever have any questions on records,I'd be happy to help wherever I can.Once upon a time,I amassed over 63,000 records.About 10 years ago, they became too much to deal with and I sold the majority of my collection to the Smithsonian institute.I kept the rarest of course....But I and about 20 other collectors from all over the US, cofounded the Keystone record club, and used to print the annual Keystone record club manual. It set the prices worldwide for what records were worth. The final part of my collection that I still have,is going to be my retirement 😁.I used to buy old song rights, and repress rare records on my own label so people could have their own copies.I sold the label to a doctor named Phil Schwartz who still runs it.Check him out too,as his collection now doubles what I had.So like I said...if you have any questions,I'd be happy to put all my useless knowledge to work, hahaha....I am a bona fide record historian (no bull),and I love to talk music. So if you want to know what to collect, value, labels, back stories,ect....I'd be happy to help with what I can on your musical journey
Hey guys I just was scrolling through the tube and saw that You folks are either expecting a child or you have had a child by now congratulations God-bless you and your family.
Song never appeared on an album released during their time together. Hey Hey What Can I Do was the B-side of Immigrant Song. Also check out Traveling Riverside Blues. Same deal. You guys are awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Here's a bit of trivia, The only single Led Zep did was a 45(Yes, 45 record! I'm way b4 compact disc. I'm from 8 Trac and vinyl!) A side was The Immagrant Song, (Thor Ragnorak??), the B side was this song, ONLY way you could get it, unless you taped off off radio play!!!
It's a common theme in blues to sing about how your woman is unfaithful and you're torn about leaving her because you're so in love with her. But in the end he realizes, he's gotta move on ( "I guess there's just one thing a-left for me to do, Gonna pack my bags and move on my way, 'Cause I got a worried mind sharin' what I thought was mine, Gonna leave her where the guitars play...)
This song wasn't even on a Zeppelin album and was a B side single to Immigrant Song in 1970. Any other band would kill to have this song on their album. Eventually it was put on their box set in 1990 ten years after the band ended in 1980. That sound at the very end is a mandolin..
Led Zeppelin was the true meaning of the term Rock Stars. They were inspired by Blues and Funky Jazz. The were so complex. You ever notice that no two Led Zeppelin songs never sound similar. Music geniuses.
Zeppelin didn't like putting out singles, but, their record company wanted them to release the Immigrant Song as a single, so, they relented, but, didn't want to use any of their album songs as the B side, so they hastily wrote this song to be used as the B side to The Immigrant Song. Until this song was released on Zeps first box set, this song was only played by radio stations who had the 45, and the lucky fans who bought the 45 in record stores.
hes got the blues if you havent noticed yet a good song can be wriitten about any situation, subject feeling emotion loven cheatin squeesen hurten, teasen an so can a bad song.
If you want a really good Zeppelin Song to critique there is a live version of “ Since I’ve Been Loving You” from a Live Album “ How The West Was Won “ this is by far the best version of this song. Much better than Studio Version and “ The Song Remains The Same “ Live Album. It really showcases how truly talented the group was especially after guitar solo. They turn it inside out, absolutely mind boggling! So check it out, definitely worthy of a video.

You're describing a MANDOLIN, which is similar in shape to a tiny guitar and has a high tint-like sound.

Great Job guys…
Zep is just damn good music
My favorite song by LZ
@ 05:36 - It's called "The Blues" Brad ...............😎
Unrequited love song. It’s classic blues a la Zep
LZ deep track Travelling Riverside Blues. Rarely heard.
Carouselambra is a rare one worth listening to
Favorite band ever but classic rock radio in the 80s and 90s played them so much I'm just now getting to appreciate them as they deserve

Greatest there is
'A real bass'. You gotta laugh.😊
one of Zeps underrated songs
Next up from LZ: Gallows Pole, Travelin Riverside Blues for some slide guitar, Houses of the Holy
the trilling fast part towards the end was John Paul Jones playing the mandolin.
That little red lamp really ties the room together.
At the end of these songs Robert Plant would just go off singing whatever came into his mind. And live even more so!
The Rain Song

4:42 That was a Mandilion Guitar In The End
That "true bass sound" brought to you by Mr. John Paul Jones. :)
That's a cool song
