Haha I was just about to comment this! But make sure it’s a desiccant humidifier as they work better in low temperatures ❄️ I put mine on next to my clothes airer and my washing is dry in no time!
I agree! I moved into a house in the summer and it was all nice but then in the winter it had a huge mould and damp issue ;( buying a dehumidifier really helped though

For the damp I would REALLY recommend getting a good dehumidifier. I've had black mould problems, damp walls, condensation on windows etc, and getting a decent dehumidifier this year has made a HUGE difference. They can be pricey, but you really will notice the difference if you get a good one
I second the humidifier! It helps my skin a lot too as it can dry out extra easily in winter and overall the air feels so much nicer.

For the mould get the unibond Dehumidifiers, make sure you don't dry clothes in your room, open the window as much as possible in the evening too and keep furniture off the walls.
Also check the outside of the wall for anything hard up against it, foliage growth, damaged pointing/render, also could be failing cavity wall insulation. Seems like you’ve got a bit of a cold spot. Good luck.

Yay vlogmas is here! I'm not feeling very Christmasy yet because I've got my masters dissertation due on the 16th so I can't really relax. These videos are a great way to spend a break and feel Christmasy.
Yay vlogmas! As a fellow condensation sufferer my only advice is get an electric dehumidifier and when possible have your window open to let the damp air circulate. I do mine first thing in the morning x x x
Wiping mould off off with white vinegar works apparently. There’s a Dettol mould spray (smells of chlorine) works well. You could regularly air the room when you aren’t in it every morning (maybe closing the door) 🌺🥰
Vinegar and clove oil! I use a teatree clove blend . I live in the sub tropics and we've had record rain. Definitely needs airing and the source to be found and fixed.

Mould remove will clear it off but you need to change the conditions to ensue it doesn’t come back.
Leave your window open a crack at night and ventilate it during the day. Remove any condensation with a cloth or a squeegee.
Best thing you can do is get a dehumidifier x
For the mould you can pop the sofa in front of the window just make sure there is a gap behind for airflow

Re the mould situationnnn, it may be coming from the outside of your home, if the outside wall is brick (painted or pebbled) you can apply a clear coat hard wear sealant to that area of the wall (on the outside) it may also be if the guttering or overflow pipes (for water from toilets etc) are leaking on the outside and dripping down the wall.
Having your bed near the window is great for all us light lovers! Tips for that would be: have a bed that allows ventilation underneath (don’t store to much under your bed to stop air from getting to the wall) don’t push the bed till it touching the wall leave a small 2/3cm gap between wall and the bed frame! You can also get dehumidifier boxes that have gel like crystals inside that collect condensation from the windows and general air in the room, you can change them every so often and they are quite affordable!

Kilz anti-mold paint & running a dehumidifier anytime you have condensation on the windows will take care of the damp/mold issue. I live on the "wet coast" of Canada and we deal with the same issues here.

White vinegar for cleaning and a dehumidifier (and/or purifier) for the mold

For your damp/mould issue:
I would first off get a decent humidifier (do research to check best for you, get the right type to suit your conditions) to fix the issue long term. In the short term, when you see condensation either wipe it away or suck it up if you have one of those Karcher window things, also open your window in the morning for 5-15 mins to get some airflow in. Also give your bedding a good shake asap after waking up to stop damp building up in them.
If you have had black mould on the wall and it's also feeling wet I would probably lift up that section of the carpet to see whats going on under there, if the area is getting that wet and dripping onto the carpet you might have some mould hiding under it!
I binged watched all of the vlogmases (i dunno if that is that is how one would spell it lol) in oct-nov and i have literally been in the christmas spirit since then! Roll on the best vlogmas content ever

I don't know if your parents are up for it but my folks got double glazed windows with air vents in. They haven't had any condensation since. It's a big investment though so the best thing to do is open your window regularly to let the damp air out. It sucks to have to do it when it's so cold but it really does work.

You could make little Xmas trees with the sticks? Lay them on a baking sheet and pipe tree shapes over the top with the chocolate. Like a wiggle if you know what I mean?

We keep a damp rid in our wardrobe/room but also borrowed a friends dehumidifier. They are better and your room stays dry and warms easier.

For any assurance about the calendar my 17mo has the same calendar for Duggee and he LOVES it! They don’t notice what the book is like
HG mould remover is the best, literally spray it on and it melts away with one wipe. Dehumidifier for the damp the cheap ones are fine but the electric ones look amazing

For the mold get a dehumidifier (helped with my damp room), have EVERYTHING off the walls and on legs (bed, wardrobe, etc), fully open your windows at least once a day for like 10 min and don't dry your clothes in your room. And check the outside of the house to see if there's sth that needs fixing

Video Suggestion-Attempt to recreate limited addition foods whether they be holiday items like the Christmas dinner sandwich or whether it be from any other time. I’m sure there are people from the UK, or the rest of the world that want to eat something they can no longer get a hold of.

With black mould - get an old toothbrush you longer use. Dip the bristles in bleach and scrub it away. It's cause it's an external wall. I had this too, any external walls get this occasionally. The bleach will get rid of the mould and maybe change the colour of the wallpaper but at least it will be gone.
Bleach doesn't kill mould. Use clove oil and vinegar.

Dry the morning condensation with your hair dryer on low....Black mould is serious, will worsen your allergies or cause more...should be looked after pronto🧐

The twelve days of Christmas begin on Christmas Day and go to Jan 6, the epiphany, so I always think of a 12 days of Christmas calendar as the perfect gift to make Christmas last a little longer because you (can if you like) start it on Dec 25.
Grace, for a Christmas perfume, may I recommend Maison Margiela’s REPLICA Jazz Club. It’s my current Christmas perfume- it’s warm and very cozy, but it might not be right for everyone so maybe try and smell it or try a sample first!!
