The first girl was a great example of why I don't understand when you say to start with the back so then you can wash it off? in a salon you could but not at home, unless you take a full shower and let it go all over you. especially for us who don't have tubs and cannot do the gymnastics the first girl did 😂
I love her enthusiasm and positivity! I'm glad she likes the result......but....when her hair hit that first beautiful red it was so shiny and healthy and a gorgeous shade. After all of that work and money she ended up with damaged looking orangey hair.
Oh man, I had such a laugh at the frustrated "You encountered the copper!" 😆 I am a natural dark redhead, tempted to use this as an introduction, "You have encountered the copper!" LOL These videos where they go through all these steps to get to such a harsh red always have me squirming a bit. But you're right HB, that red tone she hit sort of by accident in the process was PERFECT.
@@hair-buddha Yep. I am sitting here right now with brassy yellow-orange hair because I didn't leave the bleach on long enough for an ash blonde. Going to the salon next week to fix it.🤣
Naw because I just went to the salon here in Vegas I had red on my lengths and 4 -5 inches of natural new growth It cost me 400 to bleach my hair and dye it magenta and cut it into a bob
Awww she’s so cute . I think she’s a sweetheart and I’m glad she’s happy with her results . I do however like the mid tone red copper she accidentally got before . Thanks for sharing your video with us hair Buddha !!!❤
I love that red color she had after the first color remover she did. I wish she kept it. I would love to have that color. I don't really care for the find product. It's pretty though.
Omg, I saw her at 3:20 and all I wanted her to do was to stop there and just leave it. Hearing you say basically the same made me feel golden. The tone and color of the hair just looks so good for her, I get she wants another color, but I'm sad she kept going.
I totally agree with your, the color it was after she washed out the dye was really pretty and pretty on her! She should have stopped when she was ahead! I'm shocked it didn't all fall out!
With that particular line of hi lift color, you can use it with a 10 or 20 vol if you don't really need the lifting aspect. For it to be "hi lift" you mix it with 30 or 40 vol. This might be true for other hi lift lines as well but this is the only one I've used and read the directions for.
HB, i am considering a radical change, but i keep on hearing your... get some quality wigs advice. Could you perhaps give us some pointers on how to aelect wigs?

I had copper/ginger hair for years (natural brunette) however, I recently stopped because it’s super high maintenance, it fades very fast and doesn’t stay vibrant red beyond 3 - 4 weeks!
Oof! I'm glad we had the same reaction when she pulled out the copper AND THEN THE HIGH LIFT! omg.. lol. Thankful I'm learning, I did know she didn't need to go past the reddish orange stage in bleaching to get the color she said she wanted. 😊 Thanks for the funny and informative videos as always ❤❤❤ Hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday!
My hairdresser retired to do lash extensions. I thought I would try another salon. Complete disaster. Went to a different salon to get that fixed. Another disaster. Then I tried toning it at home. Then a root shadow. Then a permanent dye. Went back to my previous salon with my tail between my legs.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s a reminder that sometimes we have to go through a few bumps to find the right path. I appreciate your honesty!
Hy, what do you think about naturally grey hair? I really like your opinions and I have this "problem" from young age and I am thinking to just let it be, I am tired and bored make highlights all the time.
What a waste of time and product to get to copper! Just the colour remover followed by high lift would have most likely done the trick. And yeah, I’ve used 2 shades of high lift on my hair to colour it brownish/copper. My hair is naturally about a level 3-4 I think. And because I use relaxers, you don’t want to bleach the hair. But high lift with 20 vol works well. It’s says to use 30 unless your hair is “processed”, hence the 20.
i actually had a white/red hair (like old school Rogue from X-men) on short hair, i got it done at a salon, i was very transparant on what i did myself, and how i style/don't style my hair. it took a few hours, but it came out looking awesome. And then i ruined it with box dye and yeah... whole journey going back to blonde after, doing crazy colors and shavings and stuff, overbleaching and a shaved head, more blonde, blue and black and more cutting and more bleaching, now a purple and long hair. yes, i will still do my own coloring at home, but i know now to take much better care of the hair, take my time when doing so and if and when i do go to a salon for anything, i always, ALWAYS tell them what i did in the past.
My main question is: she is washing her hairs in a bathtub, so why is she doing this way?? Turn yourself and wash your hai with your head down!!! That's insane
Hi color will make your brown hair fully ginger. You don’t need bleach whatsoever for that. That brand will do everything for you. My goodness she’s lucky her hair had the strength for what she was doing. She could’ve stopped the first day & just kept rinsing her color out til she got that and like buddha said if she really wanted it brighter just use hi color alone omg wow
I wonder if she will look back and learn from this. Her final colour is sort of okay. But the colour she had when she finished the ‘colour remover’ looked gorgeous!
This might be a stupid question but does color remover work on natural hair as well or does it only remove the artificial pigments? I would like my hair a few shades lighter but I don’t like bleaching it.
Guess she didn’t watch the right 3 videos 🤷♀️🤣 The copper/red color she got after the color remover was beautiful!! Some people need to learn the hard way
Yeah she could have so much less damage by just colour removing to orange then just bleaching the fringe and streaks... I do thus all the time. I'm brown haired but I'm usually ginger. Every now and again I will go plum or burgundy then strip it back down to dayglo nasty ginger (as permanent dyes strip natural colour) and add back in nice copper tones. Also play with my fringe, front layers and ends of my hair. I did once bleach all the underneath but I think with very long hair (mine is to my hips currently) the underneath is too damaged so I killed it and had to do a kinda undercut...but last couple inches on end, fringe, front layers I bleach all the time and cut out any damage if gets too bad. You need to go very white for pink or purple or blue so the ends get fried, bleach, trim dead bits then colour. Green and turquoise will not come out even with bleach btw.
Loved the first color on her. Idk how she would keep that color since it was the result of color remover. She'd have to find a color to match it for next time
There was a time years ago where I bleached my hair with help to that reddish colour so I could add copper. My hair was healthy and good but the dye we used made my hair lighter and I had like peach coloured hair for a while 😂 I figured out later the colour we had gotten had lift in it 💀
Her hair looked so pretty and appropriate for her skintone after the color remover, I wish she'd have stopped there. I don't understand why everyone wants to be blond? And light blond at that? There are so many shades and tones of blond yet everyone wants the same 1 or 2. Not everyone should be a blond. The copper/orange color wasn't horrible on her but it wasn't nearly as flattering as the earlier color
Sorry but I found her whole presentation too irritating - the whole, 'Aren't I ditsy and kooky?' type thing. I think that was all put on, then there were all the silly noises when washing her hair etc. I gave up, it was just too annoying.
Ugh! She should have stopped after the color remover and did the red permanent color. She could have even gone with Arctic Fox Ginger Flare over that instead of permanent color and reduced the damage.

Yikes. Well…She should’ve quit while she was ahead because that first color result was perfect for her. But hey, at least she’s happy with it, that’s all that matters.
so much unnecessary damage for no reason, the color after the first color remover was so pretty! she could've stopped there then do the coppery red she wanted
The amount of chemicals washing down the drain into the water table from hair dye in one application, much less the tens of millions of applications across the world, is just disgusting. We're killing the planet for cool hair colors.
What do you think of the end result ???
The first girl was a great example of why I don't understand when you say to start with the back so then you can wash it off? in a salon you could but not at home, unless you take a full shower and let it go all over you. especially for us who don't have tubs and cannot do the gymnastics the first girl did 😂
Interesting 🤔
Mehh..No. I think if she applied the copper colour after the colour remover,it would've looked so much better AND muchhh healthier. 😅
She Should have stopped after second colour remover or whatever it was 🫤
Some people just don't listen 😅
In the end it did look pretty, but I liked the darker shade after the color remover more.
Ikr ..Same thoughts !
YES!! Hair Buddha read my mind when he said that.
I love her enthusiasm and positivity! I'm glad she likes the result......but....when her hair hit that first beautiful red it was so shiny and healthy and a gorgeous shade. After all of that work and money she ended up with damaged looking orangey hair.
Totally get what you mean! That shiny red was a total vibe! Let’s just say hair dye can be a bit unpredictable, huh?
I’ve been having a sad/very down day and hearing you say “you encountered copper!” brought me a little bit of a smile, so thanks!
I can't believe she bleached the ginger to cover it with copper 😬
yes indeed
Oh man, I had such a laugh at the frustrated "You encountered the copper!" 😆 I am a natural dark redhead, tempted to use this as an introduction, "You have encountered the copper!" @@hair-buddha haha, I just noticed that! Yes, one year of 2024 was enough!
@@hair-buddha 🥰Love your videos. Your personality is great as well as your hairdresser skills.
2:01 omg why would she lean back over the tub like that for months instead of standing in the shower bent over with head down and rinse 😩
I have no idea… 😂
Common sense is not so common 😅
Yass
Taking your time is just the best advice!
yes!
She had so beautiful hair after the first time 🤎
She spent so much on product that she might as well have gone to a salon.
Haha, so true! But you know what they say-sometimes you gotta risk it for the DIY biscuit! 🥴

The reddy brown was sooo gorgeous on this young lady. The light bright copper/orange was super cute too.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you find the tips helpful. Sending good vibes all the way to Italy!
The initial red suited her so much better. This red at the end result will fade so quickly
I loved the result after the color remover on her

I used 3 boxes of colour zapp on my mid back length hair. Her enthusiasm is remarkable though, good on her!
It's always good to take your time on coloring your hair.

The darker ginger colour was better on her as it was warmer for her face. The end result was too harsh a colour and very patchy.

The perfect color remover is NOT changing your natural pigment. But it's difficult to know witch one is a perfect one.
@hair-buddha Thank you for taking the time to answer, much appreciated!
Not bad, but I definitely liked the first colour after the remover so much better..
Gosh, I agree with everyone else and you! Her hair was so pretty on the first try!

yes, it was perfect...
I’d think that with instant information available today, there wouldn’t be so many mistakes.

Surprised she has hair left at this point. That’s a plus. I preferred after the second color removal process.
Loved the first color on her. Idk how she would keep that color since it was the result of color remover. She'd have to find a color to match it for next time
Just buying a color that is very close to the result of the color remover.
9:40 Those whispers that she uses while she speeds up the video is very disconcerting to listen to.
OMG when she said she wanted copper... Stop at orange!
But she could have used L'Oreal HiColor after the color remover and skipped all these steps.
yes indeed
It looked good at the end but mannnn what a train wreck
What a waste of time and money and water

There are RUclips vids that are showing to get bright copper or red you need to go to blond 😳

I see so many ladies with dead hair from bleaching. They don't cut the ends it looks so bad.
Going really light blonde and then bleaching out her copper spots to make them lighter only to tone her hair in the end to copper!!!🙄😢😂🤣😂
She literally sped right by copper
so much unnecessary damage for no reason, the color after the first color remover was so pretty! she could've stopped there then do the coppery red she wanted
Imagine ruining your hair just in order to make a TikTok video. She needs a psychiatrist AND a hairdresser.😂
Dark brunette would look so much better on her.
Hi ✌️
hello
She should have stopped when you thought she should have after her second attempt of colour removing.
It looked nice then and it was healthy!
And she has still never properly bleached her hair.
Why, please tell me why, people don't just suck it up and spend the money to go to a salon and have their hair colored professionally!
Color remover great she was better off with the first shade and then put a semi permanent color on top !!!
yes, it was beautiful
💜
I love her humor so much, I adore how positive she is about the whole process 😅
I'm so glad you enjoy her humor! Positivity really makes all the difference, especially in a video like this!
