- Deep within the core of the Ministry of Joy is a room several storeys high, full of cables and walkways and screens and people used as living data storage. This cathederal of saccharine bliss is the very heart and mind of the Marmaliser, locked away and kept hidden for years, faithfully maintained by a small army of technicians sworn to utter secrecy on its existence.

An immersive exploration video game about Alton Towers rides that utilised ambience like this would ROCK. I love this ambient stuff so much! (it's weirdly calming even if it's kinda creepy-)

Thank you so much! They're a labour of love but they're really rewarding once they're done. This one has taken me a year from idea to finished project because of how busy I've been with other things, but I'm hoping to make a few more around Scarefest time with any luck!

@@thediamondkneeplate6981 There's some concept art by Rafael Martin that shows a guy wrapped up in wires - supposedly in a dopamine trance after being and I quote here "Eaten by the ride". We made headcanons off this which has resulted in the Host Room theory, made by a very dear friend and I collaboratively.
The Marmaliser Internals aren't canon specifically [yet] but may as well be at this point due to sheer scale of fanon adoption of related headcanons to do with that piece of concept art!
It is canon that the Ministry of Joy is mostly underground below X-Sector, an entire facility is under there with Advocates who actually live there full time and get confused when people leave at the end of the day lol [2022 Thrills lore, but the underground facility thing is from John Wardley back in 1998 & continued in the Smiler game eith the Hidden Door Corridor]
I sincerely hope the internals are confirmed fully canon at Scarefest lol! Some of my theory stuff has been adopted into main park lore at this point so I'm hoping someone's picked up on it as that is a theory I very much want to be canon. Modern MoJ maze with a host room inspired section? I live for that possibility!
