What a great video! Thank you so much for your updated information. It's pretty difficult to know what's going on especially in the Middle East and Africa living in Japan, which causes misunderstanding and discrimination against the culture and people from the areas I mentioned. Thank you so much.
just bought from sudaniya organics today :) i got the sudanese bukhoor and then also got some perfumes (Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blend and Lattafa Khamrah) i hope it goes good with the bukhoor scent since i wanna use the bukhoor on my hair😭
Thank you for your video. I lived in Tchad, Syria, Irak among others countries but in the first three there was always a traditional scent that I love and I haven’t been able to find, I recently purchased mixed boxes in amazon but none of them is the one I am looking for. Do you have any idea which one could be the most used in the Arab countries and has a sweet scent? Thanks 🙏.
Where can I find an electric bakhoor burner in Dubai? I use an oil burner with tea light candles but it's so environmentally unfriendly to toss the metal candle holders in the trash. I am looking for an eco friendly alternative
Coal is pretty toxic I suggest you all to just use the burner and place the bukhoor directly on that.. the coal is not really needed from my own experience and doesn't smoke up the house
The coal is what brings the unique smell from the bukhoor which is from the word abkhar بخر تبخر which also has the meaning of تصعد the emit vapour to incense via a fume steam which is only achievable with high heat. To reduce the toxins traditionally, the actual bukhoor was always used with the gel/ruben which is the sap from the oud tree. It is proven from research to have medicinal properties without mentioning what some acient aztec & indian claims are regarding it. It reduces the toxins & the smoke sets into all the fabrics of the house; curtains, carpets, garments etc. Which holds the aroma. The traditional method is to move around the house & then leave it at a high place. Once the dukhn/smoke builds open the windows untill the smoke clears. Also only use in large open spaces not small rooms. To reduce intensity of smoke simply place some foil ontop of the coal then place the fragrances ontop . Once the coal cools down after 20-25mins place the incense directly briefly to ensure the bukhoor actually emits vaporized aroma. Also the very smokey bukhur which is from cheap khushab/sticks use synthetic oils mixed with charcoal. The original method is to use real oud sticks/sandalwood etc. Coated in oils with the gel(always) This is the kuwaiti way
We love Bukhoor in our house. I used to get it from Pakistan before. So glad you shared resources from here!!!
So glad this helped!
thank you I love Bukhoor and it's long lasting smell. I am excited to patronize the businesses you mentioned.

Super - loved the video .
subhanAllah I need bakhoor ir its sunnah ❤️. We use to use incense sticks but i hated it. I heard jinns hate the smell of bakhoor & incense sticks.
This is false & adopted from the Buddhist/Hinduism regarding that claim.
I recently bought a jar of Bukhoor maasni (big round black balls) from Oman, and I cannot see anywhere how to use it. Please help
Somali unsi is my best 🔥
The rose burner you used at the beginning of the video is gorgeous!! Please, where did you find it?
Actually I got that as a present from a friend in Dubai
Thank you useful video. Although I’d love it if I can find an ‘aunty’ in the UK who does her own mix.
😂I’m sure there are so many in UK! The companies I mentioned may also ship overseas. I would check them out and see!

Be cautious when you want to use the bakhor because its the best food for the Jinns and it really can attract them to your houses
It’s actually the opposite and was used by the prophets( S.A.W) regularly
Other way around my friend. Gets rid of the Djinns - they hate the smell.
@@sz4128 and what is your reasons for saying so ?
@@sz4128 if you burn something that smell sweet it will be their food, its not the other way
Actually the scented smell gets rid of the jinns... Plz get your fact right..
