    You’re a life saver, im from Australia and audi wanted to charge me 3 hours to change at 700 dollars!!! You’re a legend

      Awesome! Glad you managed to do the job yourself and save a lot of money!! 700 dollars for an armrest change is ridiculous on the B6/B7 platforms! If we helped, see below on how to help in return :-)

    Hi, this might sound stupid, but i own an audi a4 b6 2001. My car does not have an armrest, but i found a place i could buy the same armrest as in this video. So my question is, can i install that armrest even if there was no armrest there before? Or do i have to make new holes and stuff

    • @TotalTechnik
      @TotalTechnik  8 лет назад +1

      Yes, you can install an armrest, but yes you will need to cut a hole in the rear of the centre console If you search around online yuou should be able to find a good template.
      Hope that helps :-)

    Hi, I've got a seat Exeo, same arm rest, does anyone know of a blanking plate or smaller arm rest to replace it with? I keep knocking my elbow!

    Thank you sir , really helpful, is the arm rest the same on audi b5 model ?

    • @TotalTechnik
      @TotalTechnik  3 года назад +1

      Hey there! Unfortunately we are not covering the B5 platform just yet. We are hoping to be able to expand Total Technik to cover additional models, but it's not a cheap undertaking and our expansion will be solely reliant on the support we receive from our viewers.
      Hopefully we can cover that model in the not-too-distant future!

    Thanks for the great videos. How do I open up the bottom of the arm rest so that I can take out the obsolete phone connector that is inside the console?

    Hi, in my TT there is no ashtray in the rear. Would the plastic cover there still pop out if I pull it out?

    • @TotalTechnik
      @TotalTechnik  5 лет назад

      Hey there! Unfortunately we are not covering the TT platform right now, but we hope to! We can only expand operations to cover additional models with the express support of our viewers. It's a costly and timely undertaking, and can only be done with the support of our viewers.

    I have an audi a4 with this kind of armrest how can i put a new side panel/cap on it if it broke off?

    • @TotalTechnik
      @TotalTechnik  3 года назад

      It's annoying when the side panels break! I don't think (?) that those are sold separately so you'd either need the original one and do a fix, or you'd need to get a complete new unit. Might be worth checking eBay for a decent priced used one. Best of luck!
