    Really awesome. My teacher asked me last to buy the vademecum, I did not use since then as it looked aweful for a beginner. I will give it a try tomorrow Merci beaucoup.

    Thank you so much for this video, which I learned a lot from. When it comes to playing with relaxed fingers, the springs of my clarinet are so stiff that I must press my fingers down to close the keys (there are rings on my fingertips showing that). Are all clarinets like that, or should I have them adjusted? When playing the clarinet, should the finger pressure be like when playing a flute?

      Springing can be made lighter so it's easier to use. However, there is a limit as if the springing gets too light you will run into other issues with 'bounce' or keys not having enough pressure to stay shut when you're blowing. If you take your instrument to an experience Woodwind technician they will be able to advise further.
