I was listening to the All's Well audiobook, and i actually teared up multiple times because the way the pain is described and the way people (especially health professionals) ignore/mansplain/worsen her pain made me feel so understood. Truly amazing book!
100%!! i haven't dealt with chronic pain but i swear it's a universal experience for medical professionals to completely disregard how women are feeling and totally understood those parts of the book, even if i relate in a completely different way. i'm so glad that you felt seen by the book, honestly i will be recommending it to everyone 💖
hahahaha I love zen philosopher post-cat book Jaime💗and I definitely agree! It's not about being able to say you've read a certain amount of books or specific titles, it's about having fun and enjoying your time reading, and it's such a lovely way to spend your time😌
Girl I had to stop reading All’s Well bc I also have chronic back pain and every time she was talking about her pain I would literally feel my pain heightened. She definitely wrote that really true.
As someone who suffers with chronic pain I can confirm that All’s Well has such incredible representation! I’m so glad to see so many people reading it and understanding us ❤
I love these vlogs and my other top favorite kind of vlog is "reading until I find a 5 ⭐ book"! 🥰 Thank you for posting another favorite vlog again, so fun!
Can you post the ISBN for the edition of the cat who saved books? I want to read it 😊but everywhere I look here (USA) I see another edition that’s not as pretty lol
I love the plated prisoner series! I read blood and ash & covenant by JLA but I think her writing isn’t really for me in comparison to the fantasy I love and give 5 stars but then I keep continuing the series 😂😅
i feel like past jaime would’ve been disappointed that she only read 3 smaller books in a 24hr readathon, but obviously the cat who saved books changed your perspective on that, which i think is beautiful! i love books so much, but i’m guilty of often thinking ‘what’s a book i can read fast to get my reading challenge up’ which shouldn’t be how we see reading, it’s not a challenge, it’s an experience 🩷 will be reading that ASAP. beaut vid as always darling xxx
thank you so much my gorgeous keala! definitely agree, it's not how we should be reading at all! i hope you get to read some truly glorious reads this month x
Hey! Jaime I am so sorry I was not active on youtube because my exams are going on and please pray for me and I love your videos so so much and I wish you reach 40K Subscribers very very soon!💕😊💫
This really isn’t a 24 hour read it’s how many books you can read in so many hours you want to read a day smh within 24 hours means 24 hours straight it’s NOT A 24 HOURS read -athon
