Perfect category of unintentional ASMR clips. I remember being in highschool listening to a tutorial for photoshop on repeat because it was so relaxing. I can still hear the soft-spoken American narrator saying 'cookie cutter tool'.
In all of my computer programming/administration classes through HS and College, I'd have trouble not dozing off. The ASMR would hit and I'd be done. Then, when my company got a new program and we had to sit through a 6-hour tutorial, I nearly fell asleep multiple times. These are excellent nostalgia and also perfect relaxation. Thanks for uploading!
I have this problem all the time at work. A few people on my team in particular with accents, I can’t even pay attention when they’re presenting I just feel like I’m gonna pass out
that first video of the website builder I actually found when I was 12 years old and it used to help me fall asleep with my 1st gen ipod touch back in 2008. Man thats crazy its been 16 years... it was the first asmr I ever listened to
You don’t get how happy I am seeing the upload notification from you, I don’t like putting stuff online but I feel like it could help other people that are dealing with the same thing, I tried to take my own life last week (I will spare you the details) but your channel has helped me through a lot especially calming me down after battling myself so thank you for uploading more ❤️🙏
Thanks for sharing. Just a reminder for you or anyone reading this, it's usually temporary so don't do anything permanent! They are always people who want to help but they may not know you need it. You can find calm when you look for it..
The most calming voice to me was Joshua Howe, too bad it was so short. My first computer was a Windows XP in 2003. I also liked the Linux Fedora part. And thanks for the segment sharing with us at the end of the vid too.
Oh, I love this kind of tutorials! Watched videos like these (and others) loooong before ASMR would be a thing. Thanks a lot! The way low-fi mics as well as radio transmissions sort of compress the space, slightly distort the voice and add noise is just brilliant for ASMR. No stupid trigger assortment including hyper-aggressive tapping and the like will ever reach that level of tingling.
This was prime era for me when I was first starting to really expand what I could do with computers. And I ALWAYS got so relaxed and tingly and sleepy listening to tutorials - but the best way I learned is with video tutorials. I always thought the look of the software was so nice.
This is a great format for asmr videos. There must be loads of similar videos out there waiting to be rediscovered in a new light. I agree about Isadora, that UI looks absolutely dreadful! There's a lot I miss about the 90s, but not the software 😂
Isadora still exists! Though it looks a lot better than it used to. It's intended for live audio-video processing, often for theater/dance. It's like having a bunch of audio/video/lighting processing plugins that you can "program" with nodes instead of code. I'm more familiar with Max/MSP, which is similar, but primarily audio-focused.
"When you came for the tutorial and stayed for the calming voice" somebody commented in a clipstudio paint tutorial i was watching and i was glad i wasnt the only one that thought the samething about the guy tutorial, and i found 2 guys tutorials for the same program that i had to put it in my asmr playlist
Dude you've got a great voice and the bed setup is really visually calming. Maybe pick a topic you like talking about and give it a go yourself? Like unintentional style, use that same voice and just...talk.
I have to admit I laughed way too hard at the guy in the second clip just continuing on normally about how the program works while that poor woman in the video clip just keeps twitching like a bugged out video game npc below his face at like the 13 minute mark lol.
This is great. I remember as a kid I got a Photoshop tutorial on a cd rom that was the most relaxing thing ever, I lost the disc and I wish I still had access to it
Little side note part on the Linux thing here. Gedit is not like word. It is like the text editor in windows. The difference is kinda important since with word, you edit text files in a specific format that you cannot use for system settings or programming. Meanwhile gedit or editor are not useful for precision work for specific paper formats that are printed out. (Such as a job application) Also nice to see how the gnome desktop looked a few years before i started using Linux as main system in 2019. Never used it myself since my whole system today is keyboard controlled with the exception of Firefox and Discord. But in itself these are great videos to chill out a bit. And very nostalgic. On my very first own computer, i had windows 2000 but Windows XP always reminds me of that for some reason.
Wonderful channel and video! I was reminded to come back here from a commenter on Melange ASMR, another of my favourites. This computer video gives me nostalgia for a time I actually liked the things. Btw, I can’t hear a speech impediment in the first video; it sounds normal to me 🤷♀️.
I think these types of videos trigger ASMR for me because there's something about amateur people talking as if they're experts. Like, people who confidently speak about stuff as if they're the authority on it triggers ASMR. Not sure why
funny how everyone is saying he just southern but as a man born and bread in the south i can actually here the lisp when the guy talks southern draw aside
When I was younger I downloaded a tutorial for Adobe Audition from a website called Wrigley I think. It was about removing noise from the background audio of a video. I wish I could find that tutorial. It was the best unintentional ASMR ever!
maybe it was his first time hearing a southern one. I'll try not to hold it against him 😅 I would like to hear his take on Jersey accent... for science.
@@findcalm I commented on this too. Not harshly though! Maybe the Southern accent sounds odd to many. Can’t wait til you find an unintentional ASMR video in a New Zealand accent 😂
I’m commenting because I see the comment about the southern accent. I’m from Florida, technically the south but if you’re from Florida you know it’s not the “south” anyway However The United States is a speech impediment no lies there
Hey man, hope you're well. I'm not sure where else to make an unintentional asmr recommendation to you, so apologies if this isn't the right place. Be great to see this and other similar ones used in a bedtime asmr. ruclips.net/video/sEYhMG6phCs/видео.html
Everyone's different; I find his introductions are just as good as the unintentional parts. In fact I wish they were longer. I love it in his other videos too, like in the video of the catholic channel I regularly re-watch his introduction/explanation parts. There's something uniquely soothing about a description of something, followed by the thing that's being described, if that makes sense.
@@iridescentpeacock like you said, everyone has their own preference.. thats why people who like unintentional asmr come here.. many people hate intentional asmr and like you said people have there own preferences.. so maybe if you prefer that then you should go to those channels... and it still stands that he ruins his own concept.
1. some people appreciate real personalities and not hyped up stimmies on camera 2. he literally spoon feeds everyone with the sources in the description. maybe these tutorials are too complicated for you if you can't figure that out
Ashley with the fedora linux tutorial has the most soothing voice i have ever heard.
Video one. “Speech impediment” That’s a Southern accent 😂
Hahahahhahaha I'm dying
Same thing lol
Whats the difference 😏
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂 I’m done
It is *always* a win when the tutorial you're looking up has someone with a soft-spoken voice.
Perfect category of unintentional ASMR clips. I remember being in highschool listening to a tutorial for photoshop on repeat because it was so relaxing. I can still hear the soft-spoken American narrator saying 'cookie cutter tool'.
He said Speech Impediment lmao, that is a Southern US Accent brother.
BROOOOOTHER
He has a lisp
So, it's more like a thinking impediment.
Linux girl was my favorite segment. Thanks for the video.
Love the Fedora part , this microphone and voice 😊

This is AWESOME! so glad you still post and then come out with a banger like this. The nostalgia is real!!!

These old techie ASMRs remind me how hard it once was for me to stay awake during college.
Damn we need more Fedora girl
Yes! This is the unintentional asmr niche I’ve been looking for!!
This is an excellent and deeply relaxing ASMR curation! Thanks
Edulaxin! You learn something while getting sleepy, just like in school ^^
Danke für's Teilen, eine ruhige Woche dir!
He called a southern accent a speech impediment that's the funniest shit I've ever seen
Wow what great finds. And also the nostalgia
this was an asmr fantasy I had, a compilation of all of the old relaxing computer tutorials. This channel is amazing!!!
I’m grateful this channel exists. Thank you.
thank YOU:)
Omg the load-time for the search engine, totally forgot that was a thing😂

oh this is great and also we open with TAYNE

IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THAT 1ST VIDEO FOR A WHILE!!!
That’s not a speech impediment 😂 that’s an accent.
He has a lisp which is a speech impediment
I can't believe someone else knew about this video. I had it saved to help me fall asleep before ASMR was a trend
I love the setting of you (the host/narrator) in your bed getting ready to sleep
Not gonna lie, Unintentional asmr is the best ASMR
Love nostalgia for operating systems I literally never used.
Oh my god, the WYSIWYG video is the oldest intentional ASMR videos I remember!! I’ve not been able to find it in years!
Is it weird that I like the interludes between clips more than the actual clips? 😬

It's nice to see old school computer programs. BTW, the 'weird' Bluefish accent is Dutch, not Scandinavian.

Definitely not a speech impediment.
I picture the guy in the first video being a heavyset guy with a thick mustache
Bro your voice is awesome. Do you do asmr vids yourself?
The Isidora media player guy sounds EXACTLY like Harold Crenshaw from Monk 😂
I think these types of videos trigger ASMR for me because there's something about amateur people talking as if they're experts. Like, people who confidently speak about stuff as if they're the authority on it triggers ASMR. Not sure why
Yes!!! I wonder if you've ever heard of the Gemstone Insitutite - sooo tingly unintentional asmr goodies
Honestly the fedora GUI (Gnome) looks about the same as it does today lol
I guess weird player was supposed to be a gif maker
Idk if its just me, but you kinda look like Reus from Dortmund!! Thanks for the video
Very relaxing 😌 thank you
I’d like just more of u. Very calming. 🙏😊
There's one about the first time the program Paint come out it is sooo good but I couldn't find it anymore
Something about the cheap mics/poor audio quality really triggers my tingles.
I love this ❤
That JoshuaHow guy sounds like hes gonna ask me if I wanna know how he got his scars
Not a fan of the second guys voice, it’s quite startling, love all the others though :)

that's not a 90s website builder. he's on XP, that's a 2000s website builder
WYSIWYG Web editor has another tutorial by someone called Kim Rozell that is very good also. He has a wonderful southern USA accent.

I've clicked on the video hoping to experience Clippy ASMR, just as seen on TV.. or rather video thumbnail. And it's not there! I are disappoint.

is this available without the commentary?

Can we edit out the dude from the bed
That fairy talking in the middle of each of video ruined the entire thing.
Having an intentional ASMR “host” intro each video is a little odd.
