When you learn how to play and read music it becomes much easier to make your own songs or remix others. Once you think you've got the hang of how to read and write music I would look into getting music making software. There's a cheap ($17.99) beginner music making software on steam called Rytmik Ultimate (it's what I used when I first got into music making). Make remixes of whatever music you like and find out what sounds you like or don't like. You'll develop your own style at one point and eventually you can really experiment to make your music unique.
