Yes you need to ask permission ! go to AAN.pt for every flight you need to give them the coordinates ... it's a whole jobe to prepare , planning .. but you are not limit to one day , you can ask for a place in a span of a week or so .. for every request i got permission 👍👍
Ask permission in Portugal. You have to fill in a Survey form on the Site of AAN.pt . Every location you fly in , you need to draw it on a map. Most of the time if you chose the right map , they give permission. Don't make your flymap to big. And avoid any prohibited sites like airport, military domain, hospitals, ... Also you need to be a registrated exploitant with the EASA as an Operator. I hope this helps. Fly safe. 🙏
