When Dr Zhivago live with his family in the country house, and suddenly the spring appear - and the film play this tema - is in my opinion one of the most beautiful part in film history. This stunning music and the face of Dr Zhivago's face which is changing from misery to hope. It is so inspiring for me too every time I see it.

Once, many years ago my parents and I went to see Dr. Zhivago at the Leicester Square Cinama. When my mother was a widow she later regretted that I sat between them (I was 8) and she wanted to hold my father's hand. What music? There are no words.

Musical score of Mr. Maurice Jarre will nerver become old. Evergreen as ever. Saw Dr. Zhivago in 1967. Still the soundtrack of this movie makes me hear again and again. Same is the soundtrack of Lawrence of Arabia. Long live Mr. Maurice Jarre and his musical works.

@@astrophonix Maurice Jarre left his son when he was 5 years old and never really cared for him. He was just a biological father, they've met 15 times in their lives and Maurice treated him like a stranger. makes you weep when you hear it. and then want to with a womderful lady when you hear this.
takes you back to another era.

RIP.

Mr & Mrs. Balsco did us both a huge favor, though our nation the USA., is in decline and I'm glad I am 58... I would NEVER WANT TO COME BACK... when I 'leave'.. So Sad.

What gets me every time is that it's Yevgraf, a hardened communist general, who is the one relating the tale of his half brother's love story to his niece. After all those years when Zhivago's love poems had been banned as bourgeois decadence, Yevgraf finally acknowledges the value of love over ideology.
