Yea I agree. Klay is a legend and HOFer, but at this point in his career, he is no different than DLo where he will either score 25 points on 5 threes or score 0 points and brick everything. Getting JV allows AD to play the 4 and play free safety instead of playing the 5 and having to guard Centers as well as cleaning up all the mistakes from our bad perimeter defenders (DLo, Reaves, LBJ)

Klay feels disrespected by warriors organization. Reason why Bob Myers stepped down as GM, was that he could avoid taking the decisions the warriors currently are taking breaking their core. You could see in Klay's face last year

I don't think people realize that GS is way over the cap, and that's without Klay signed. It is possible he takes it if GS can't free up enough money or offload CP3's horrible contract.

Jonas V paired with AD in thw post qould make for an interesting combo. Both also stretch the floor and it allows AD to move back to the 4.
It’ll take some of the defensive responsibility off AD. I like the idea of it, seems like it would work.

Jonas would be great but the Lakers also gotta figure out the scoring situation when LeBron and AD are off the floor. That's been a big issue for them.
@thebeastlyiceking7416 no one is saying that he needs to be the DPOY. You have to remember they already have AD for the heavy lifting defensively, but this means he doesn't have to be glued to the paint or uae as much energy. This gives him a legit 5 man and another big body to play against guys like Jokic and Minnesota's bigs. He's a double-double big that can finish around the rim. It won't fix all their problems but it's a start.
@@justified004 I'm not saying that's what you're implying, but the problem is, AD was literally our entire defense(the only thing that made our defense decent) last season since he was a massive deterrent around the rim/paint. Even though it would be nice to lighten his defensive load, if you put him at the 4 and Jonas at the five, our defense in the paint/around the rim gets SEVERELY reduced as Jonas statistically has no defensive impact around the rim.

Kcp is overpriced, Demar is overrated, I do like harden a lot for the lakers. Harden is now unselfish and makes perfect reads. Shoots when he needs to and makes plays for the other guys. Defense is iffy but worth the risk. Lakers getting Lauri is a stretch.

Philly should just sign isaac okoro and miles bridges instead of PG. Theyre a combined salary of 38 million. Thats 11 and a half less than PG plus they get a player who can score and a player who can shoot and defend. The fact that there are teams out there wanting to give him a 4yr max when he doesn’t even care about winning is just mind boggling. I remember shaq asking him earlier this year if he thinks they can go all the way this year (this past season). His response was clear he didn’t care for a chip.

Sixers could sign Klay and Derozan, they would essentially have a “big 4”, you don’t have to rely on Embiid to give you 30 a night and Maxey could be more of a playmaker. You get a great mid range shooter in Demar and a great 3pt shooter in Klay, Embiid dominating the paint and Maxey running the floor, they would have guys that could get points all over the floor.
Klay is not great at anything anymore. But maybe less pressure and expectations from him will be a good thing.

PG to the magic would be a fun little move. It could either mean very little in the grand scheme or it could help push the magic to be top 4-5 in the east and maybe get hot. But there’s no doubt the magic have good young talent. They just need a little push.
A core of Paulo Wagner and PG with that core of guards is a pretty decent squad
Pg to the sixers make sense from a high end talent angle. But as we’ve seen recently… top tier players matching up without a good team 1-10 in place doesn’t work anymore. Specifically in a league that is punishing those hard called by big contacts.
PG would be better served to play with 2 young studs on rookie deals and a good supporting cast than have one superstar teammate and another good teammate but no solid role players. Especially since PG gets hurt a lot and so does embiid.
We saw in Brooklyn what happens when you team up with a bad roster and one superstar has to carry the whole team while the other is hurt.
If PG gets hurt with the magic they can still stay relevant. And they’re guys are younger and more resilient.
I love the off season it's like Christmas for NBA fans, Im a diehard Lakers fan but I get excited to see other teams put a good team together!

Warriors decided to prioritize Paul George (no rings, injury prone, has mentioned multiple times not caring about having a ring, only wants money). After doing that, klay felt extremely disrespected (rightfully so). He shot 39% from three on 18ppg this season. On a bad season….. that’s pretty darn good. Has HEAVY playoff experience and 4 rings. Yes his defense is a bit worse but the fact warriors didn’t even offer klay a contract the last 2 weeks is just atrocious. Klay is not returning to the warriors. Klay to mavs or lakers.

There’s no way Klay would leave to take way less money..13 or 14 then he would make in the bay.
