I don't live there but I do some grocery shopping around there occasionally. It's not bad. It's not the worst place and it's not the best, if you know what I mean. Plenty of all kinds of shops, anything you want it's probably there somewhere, that's the main thing I like about it. Thanks.
I live nearby but do most of my shopping in Brookfield Farm, but I do go to Waltham Cross occasionally for groceries at the TFC and Lidl. I was actually there today and had lunch at Kervansaray restaurant.
The shops may have changed but Waltham Cross has always been a dull place to shop, where the Earnest Jones is there used to be a MR Byrite AKA Blue Ink, I used to get all my CDs from Trumps. Where the Italian restaurant is used to be a bar called The Vault. The bar near the cash Con used to be called The Happy Pig & it was very rough.

Waltham cross has so much potential. The council should be ashamed of themselves. They have let the cross turn into a dump.
