Jarnkrok-Goodrow-some playmaker on the 4th line could get a +3 John. If you look both Jarny and goodrow love the 4th and the +3 would definitely be better than what you have right now.
Sprong or Jarnkrok definitely needs to get called up, kind of ridiculous having both of them down there, the AHL team would be stacked without either of them anyways
Evan Rodrigues is an absolute stud in real life. One of my favorite players in the league. The fact that you have him in a franchise mode makes me happy even if he's only in the AHL lol. But I vote him for fourth line center after Bozak.

I do really hope we pull a "Dallas" and win game 7 in OT to advance to the next round. It would be sweet justice for losing versus Dallas in this simulation to have my team IRL do the exact same thing but in reverse fashion.

He's obviously a natural winger, but he did play some center in Rimouski, so I would see, just to see, what happens if you switch them. If you turn Alexis into a center, he could end up being even more valuable.

Quick "glitch" on coaches. If you have someone in an existing role you want to keep - just hire them at a higher position and they'll still accept in the position that they are in. (Example: Assisant Coach - Offer them a contract as a Head coach). Bit cheese, but meh EA has garbage mechanics anyways. Just don't have the higher position you are offering available when you do it. Sadly it doesn't work on Free Agent coaches. It does let you keep folks you've developed or are trying to develop though.
Johnny, might sound like cheese, but you should not worry about the player type, only look for players who match your scheme... you are able to edit their player types and that will allow you to get a +5 easier

In all of his GM modes, he never wants to cheese the system, but there are a few players that I don’t think have the roles the game reflects.. for example, as Chara aged, I personally think he turned into more of a defensive defenseman, which is why I raised this point :)
