    I love how u show these without talking!!!! after a week of hearing people talking, it is so relaxing to just watch u do it. i can even turn the sound on my phone to mute since you type the measurements on the video! Thank you soo much

    Oh my gosh, these ideas are great. The whole idea of making perfect triangles intimidates me and these ideas are so easy. Thank you, I know I am trying these out soon, maybe for some holiday hot pad gifts.

    Hi Teresa! I had to stop and make that 1st block. Genius! I used fork pins to get the seams just right on 2nd block. Your tutorials are awesome and you never cease to "wow" me!!! Love your quick, get to the point and get it done videos! Thanks for sharing your talents!

    I've seen the first block many times, but not using that method. It looks so much easier than the way everyone else does it. Definitely going to give it a go (once I've got my UFOs finished). I love your videos.

    I can think of so many uses for the square in a square one. I think I'll use it for a baby quilt i need to make, and fussy cut the centers 😁

    Wow, How can you make something I would have difficulty making look sooo easy. Plus love the music.
    Going to buy the fabric to try make the colour flair down under quilt next week, giving myself 3 months to make it. Not looking forward to cutting out all the squares as I'm doubling the size of the quilt.

    Have you noticed yet that 2 3/8 is smaller than 2 1/2 in the fish block cutting instructions? Thanks for this clever short cut. I like it very much. I have tried several fish variations and two at a time is the best!

    Is there a way to calculate what size pieces to begin with to make larger blocks? I’m thinking of the last example of the 3 triangle block. Love your innovative ideas!

      Quite a few people have said that and I’ve noticed in the decrease of traffic. Not sure what the solution is.

    In your last segment how do you figure out the starting size of the rectangles needed for various sizes?

    I saw the measurement on the first block for the first 3 squares, but not for the next ones that look bigger. I watched it 3x thinking I just missed it but I still didn’t see . Please let me know what the next layer of 3 I think, what those measurements are. Ty.

      Well, you have to measure after you add each square to know what size to cut next. That’s how I made the block

    When you sewed around the square, why did it look like the thread was loose?

      Did it? It could be it was loose at the precise time. You get stuff happening while recording

    Great tips but I cannot believe she sews over pins. Never ever sew over pins as not only can you break a needle but cause burrs in the shuttle hook that holds your bobbin & causing you Hundreds of dollars to your sewing machine

      Actually, I don't think she does. The pins are very carefully placed, and she pulls them out as she goes.

      I looked into this recently, since i sew over pins. Manufacturers don't agree that hitting a pin will harm the machine. Machines just aren't that delicate. I've done it for 60 years. Yes, you break a needle or bend a pin or both but i don't know if anyone whose machine has been damaged by it.
