I love how u show these without talking!!!! after a week of hearing people talking, it is so relaxing to just watch u do it. i can even turn the sound on my phone to mute since you type the measurements on the video! Thank you soo much
i'M so happy I "tuned in"! It's been a long time but you get better the longer I watch you!! I'll have to watch all your videos starting right now! You are the BEST!! 🤗🤗🤗 '
Oh my gosh, these ideas are great. The whole idea of making perfect triangles intimidates me and these ideas are so easy. Thank you, I know I am trying these out soon, maybe for some holiday hot pad gifts.
Hi Teresa! I had to stop and make that 1st block. Genius! I used fork pins to get the seams just right on 2nd block. Your tutorials are awesome and you never cease to "wow" me!!! Love your quick, get to the point and get it done videos! Thanks for sharing your talents!
I am new to quilting. Your videos are so interesting and informative. You must have a mind for math, I sure don’t. Thanks for sharing. Now I just need the time.
I've seen the first block many times, but not using that method. It looks so much easier than the way everyone else does it. Definitely going to give it a go (once I've got my UFOs finished). I love your videos.
Wow, How can you make something I would have difficulty making look sooo easy. Plus love the music. Going to buy the fabric to try make the colour flair down under quilt next week, giving myself 3 months to make it. Not looking forward to cutting out all the squares as I'm doubling the size of the quilt.
Awesome!! I have watched 3 times. Ready to start on the first block. Its different. How about twin bed and queen sizes. I'll let you know by Thursday my finishes project.. Have a great weekend.
Have you noticed yet that 2 3/8 is smaller than 2 1/2 in the fish block cutting instructions? Thanks for this clever short cut. I like it very much. I have tried several fish variations and two at a time is the best!
Is there a way to calculate what size pieces to begin with to make larger blocks? I’m thinking of the last example of the 3 triangle block. Love your innovative ideas!
Hi Teresa, just wanted to let you know that I am not receiving notifications from RUclips when you post. You might want to see if anyone else has the same problem. I did check and I have the correct notification setting. I have it at see all of your postings. Hope that it is only happening to me. Thanks for all of your tips and wonderful videos.😀
Here's my problem: between your videos and book, i can't decide which enticing design to try first! At least I know I'll be making whatever it is in the most efficient way and have gorgeous layout ideas to choose from!
I saw the measurement on the first block for the first 3 squares, but not for the next ones that look bigger. I watched it 3x thinking I just missed it but I still didn’t see . Please let me know what the next layer of 3 I think, what those measurements are. Ty.
Great tips but I cannot believe she sews over pins. Never ever sew over pins as not only can you break a needle but cause burrs in the shuttle hook that holds your bobbin & causing you Hundreds of dollars to your sewing machine
I looked into this recently, since i sew over pins. Manufacturers don't agree that hitting a pin will harm the machine. Machines just aren't that delicate. I've done it for 60 years. Yes, you break a needle or bend a pin or both but i don't know if anyone whose machine has been damaged by it.
All I can say is WOW! Thanks for making something that looks difficult to be so easy to do!!!
You are so welcome!
I love how u show these without talking!!!! after a week of hearing people talking, it is so relaxing to just watch u do it. i can even turn the sound on my phone to mute since you type the measurements on the video! Thank you soo much
😊😊🙏
I agree!! I wish there was NO music either.
You can mute it
It works perfect for lunch at work. Easy to watch & understand without sound.
I'm completely lost in your cleverness, Teresa - - - what a nice place to be!

I can think of so many uses for the square in a square one. I think I'll use it for a baby quilt i need to make, and fussy cut the centers 😁

Quite a few people have said that and I’ve noticed in the decrease of traffic. Not sure what the solution is.
@@teresadownunder , I'm not sure either. Best of luck with this situation. I've heard of other RUclipsrs having the same problem. Wonderful channel 😁
I’m sure I’m not unique. Thank you for watching 😊😊🙏
Love those, great. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you for watching
Another great video. Thanks!

Love your videos! Do you starch your fabrics before cutting?
I don’t but it’s good practice
Very cool. Thank you 💟
Glad you like it
beautiful!
😊😊
That first block is amazing. Was it very thick when finished?
Not more than usual.
@@teresadownunder thanks. I'm definitely going to try it. Thanks so much for sharing your clever ideas
🙏🙏😊
Another great video
Glad you like it
In your last segment how do you figure out the starting size of the rectangles needed for various sizes?
I haven’t actually worked the math for it
Thank you Teresa. Have a great day!
🙏
I'd love to make these bigger!! How can I do the math on this...for larger block...please!!! TY
I’m sorry I don’t have a formula for that
You are awesome!
🙏
классные блоки! спасибо
👍
LOL Amazing. Do you have a lot of time on your hands to just play around? Lol this is soooo great!
I do actually. Lucky me!
Harikasınız...👌👌👌👍👍👍👏👏❤❤❤🤗

Well, you have to measure after you add each square to know what size to cut next. That’s how I made the block
Love this
🙏🙏
Super , le four patch !
🙏🙏
brilliant
Thank you
When you sewed around the square, why did it look like the thread was loose?
Did it? It could be it was loose at the precise time. You get stuff happening while recording
👍👍👍спасибо🙏💕
🙏🙏
Wow!!!
😊🙏
Cool
🙏
Looking for your New York beauty tutorial
I think you got it
спасибо ))))...

I like the idea but the video so quick
Adjust your playback settings on RUclips
You are quite amazing, love know chit chat, just quilting
🙏🙏😊😊
👏👏👏👏🤝
🙏
🙀
👍👍
I need to get out my thesaurus to find another word for clever!! I just can’t figure out how ur brain keeps coming up with these ideas.
Oh, don’t credit me with all the ideas 😊
Hi, videos need to be slower so people can follow properly what you are doing.
You can adjust the playback speed on your RUclips player
Great tips but I cannot believe she sews over pins. Never ever sew over pins as not only can you break a needle but cause burrs in the shuttle hook that holds your bobbin & causing you Hundreds of dollars to your sewing machine
😩
Actually, I don't think she does. The pins are very carefully placed, and she pulls them out as she goes.
That’s also my experience.
I try not to. Particularly on video but it does happen from time to time.
Респект!👍
