There is this thing with sparring in which if someone leg kicks you and it hurts and your brain says “f u I’m gonna leg kick you back”. Somewhere in her subconscious Rose was knew Weili was expecting the low kick and decided to go high with the same kick weili landed 4 times... rose did so flawlessly, in motion, no telegraph, right on the button, slight lead hand feint, got good height with her kicking foot before she turned the hip over and got some good power on it, just incredible. Try standing with your non dominant foot forward, and try to round kick with that front foot. It’s so awkward, the ability to get the height and power rose did is incredibly difficult and very rare even among ufc fighters. Let alone doing so flawlessly in the biggest fight of her career. Been a rose fan for a long time. No matter what happens she’s gonna be one of my favourites for life.
