Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! I love the part near the end that you put some kinks in the wire with the round nose pliers. That adds such a unique and beautiful touch! I can't wait to try this.
yes I want to try some Boho beads. I use to do Jewelry and then stopped for other crafting and now adding beading back into my Crafts. Love how yours turned out!! TFS.... HUGS....
These are so pretty. I have to sit down and start making some of these. They are so cute and easy to make. If you could see the collection of beads and broken jewelry I have, you’d fall out of your chair! I picked up a couple of jewelry jars at Goodwill and various thrift stores and they have just been collecting dust. I am stuck in bed for a few days because of a foot injury so this would be something I could do while propping my foot up.
Oh, I’m sorry about your foot. I wish you a speedy recovery! I make jewelry lying in bed often. You’ll just want a nice big tray, and a small lidded container to hold your wire scraps. It’s so fun to create and watch your fav shows, lol. I’m glad your “treasures” will be put to use. 😊💗
Hello! New friend here. Your video popped up in my suggestion selection. Thank you for sharing your process of making Boho beads - so many great tips and tricks! Blessings & Bubbles...oooOOO
Your video is THE BEST I've seen on boho bead making. I've watched a lot too. I really like that you mixed different metals and it all worked. Thanks for sharing your way of doing these. 💕
I am an older experienced beaded but I must say I just learned a couple of valuable tips from you. The closed tin for metal scraps is simply genius! I had been using a little open basket which could easily tip over now that you pointed it out to me! Thanks. I just subscribed.
Love these beads ! I love that u take ur time showing the process and steps. I'm in the process of making a boho junk journal and these will be awesome on it!
TFS! I’m working on a Book of Secrets junk journal for Halloween & my boho beads are more neutral colors...I have those feather charms and hadn’t thought to use them.👍💕
I love, love, love your thoroughal tutorial video on these boho beads. Your details flow perfectly and I totally appreciate the time and effort you put in. Definitely love your passion and focus. Thank you so very much. I'm inspired to embark on a boho bead adventure this very weekend keeping your video at hand😍
Art Archaeologist my name is Kim Sells. FB group Junk Journal Tutorials Mixed Nut Creations 😊. On one of your videos you mentioned King Super Grocery. The only store I have seen by that name is Colorado Springs. I was born there. My mom”s side of family is from there. Brought back memories of my cousins and me walking to the store. Spending summers with my grandma and grocery shopping at King Supers lol. Off the subject I know. Ha. Your process is great and you give great tutorials
Thx Kim. The spelling is King Soopers. That might be why you didn’t find it. Yep, I found you in FB JJT. I love that group! No one in my life is into art like i am. So I turned to the internet. 😁 have a great day 🌸

Love, love this tutorial! The dining room table is covered with beads, wire, etc. and I was struggling with wrapping wire. You really showed me a much better way of making the loop. Thank you. A great tutorial and a new subbie!
Cori, just found an older bead tute that you created. Always so fun to watch you work. Again, I'm really excited to see your new channel coming up on You Tube soon!
Thx Lynn. We may have a disconnect, new channel? Are you talking about the watercolor channel? I must have said something and forgot, lol. Could you enlighten me please…
@@KorysArtCafe Sorry Cori, I guess I mis spoke. I thought you had said a new YT channel with all the jewelry you've been making. I think what you probably said was, that you will be selling a bunch of the jewelry in your Etsy shop. So sorry about that screw up! Does this sound right?
@@lynnparise9841 haha yes. I am staring a watercolor channel but I haven’t told anyone yet. I want to make sure I can keep up with it before I do it. Yep, I’m just making jewelry for the shop. ☺️
Hello I have to say that I recently decided to make some boho beads and so I went on a quest to learn how to make them. I have watched too many tutorial videos to admit how many I have watched. LOL However this video right here was the most easily understandable tutorial to follow! You broke it down into easy steps and I am totally following your tutorial for my little artistic adventure!! I also LOVE the charms on the end too! I wish RUclips allowed us to post pics of what we make following the RUclipsrs videos! Maybe they will come up with that one day soon! Thank you!!!
Thank you, and you are so welcome. I’m not as active on Instagram as I should be, but that’s our way around it for now. Plus facebook too. I’d love to see what you make, you can message me on Facebook at art archaeologist and post pics there.
This was a very informative tutorial, thank you so much! Now I see where I went wrong when I tried to make these beads, it'll get better from now on :)
You all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Andre Jaxon i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Art Archaeologist, I really enjoy your boho beads & tutorial. I heard you say something about making jewelry in the past, do you have any more jewelry tutorials?
Nancy, hi and thank you! Yes, I have a few. If you go to my channel, and click on the videos button up top, then scroll down you’ll find a few more. I’ve got a couple on making tribal feathers, and necklaces. More to come soon too. You can also go to the playlist button on my channel, and click on the jewelry playlist.
I use these for journal dangles and pendants. They’re great also as earrings, (if you make them smaller). Plus you can hang them in windows and rear view mirrors. Happy beading. ☺️
I have never seen those plyers before with the rubber or plastic on the nose of the plyers before. What are they called because I most definitely want a pair of those bad boys! LOL
They’re acrylic pliers. Not sure of the technical term. You can get them at hobby lobby, Michael’s, online. If you’re in the states, they’re in the jewelry tool section. I love mine! Can’t believe I went so long without them. They’re a must for a wire working.
Hi Kory, I was searching Boho beads and your YT came up. I went ahead to read your comments before I asked you a question. I am guessing your bead station has you filming this from a different side? I am not sure why but for some reason I was able to understand what you were doing right away. I think it could be because you were facing a different way????? I am really interested in this because I am starting to think for teaching someone this is a much better format. Do you have any thoughts on this idea?💡thanks Laura new subbie👍
I used to use a tripod on the opposite side of my table. I did that for this video. It was before I had my overhead set-up. Some people use their tripod, and then flip the video in editing. I don’t recommend this because the viewer feels like they’re floating upside down. I can’t watch videos like that because they make me sick. Using your tripod can make your viewer feel like they’re standing across the table from you (like here) which I think is good. I like the overhead view too, but the camera really needs to be pointing straight down. Hope this helps.
@@KorysArtCafe My favorite is like standing across the table. I wanted to see if I was the only person asking. I have the same feeling floating upside down or from a shaky camera.
