I recall seeing a documentary of the exploits of the 5th RTR (Royal Tank Regiment) a crack formation that seems to have gone everywhere and done everything! They had many interviews with veterans of the unit and every one, every single one, rated the sherman over the cromwell.

I enjoy playing with mine but have always been underwhelmed by its performance on the table, but I think a lot of that comes down to often being forced to defend with them, which is not their strong suit.

I think the sniper firefly option sounds scarry, the platoon is only 3 tanks to begin with so I don't think it's worse? It would be almost like a independent (stationary) unit... Killing all of my tigers 😬

Firefly is scary but in this case if you knock out 2 of the three Cromwells then they will break morale, taking the firefly with it.
