    Crazy that Jordan is still maintaining his absolutely elite level competitive fire. He's done everything there is to do in the sport. He's dominated, suffered setbacks and adversity, then came back and regained his dominant form and won it all at the highest level at a relatively advanced age. He can hang it up anytime he wants to and will be recognized as one of the 2 greatest American wrestlers of all time. The fact that he is still getting after it is a testament to who is as a man and as a competitor. Way to represent JB.

    JB is a true magician of the sport, much like Michael Jordan's uncanny ability to draw fouls and avoid them: to explain -- despite Marstellar's stalking (particularly in the 2nd period), JB knew how to circle correctly, when to go lateral and retake the center.
    Tbh JB should've received at least one passivity in the 2nd, but big matches are his bread&butter -- he can just feel how and when to feint, how to frustrate an opponent, and he's a such a boxer in a pocket with that movement.
    Well-earned, masterclass finals performance.

    • @anklepick9524
      @anklepick9524 2 года назад +2

      I feel his feint and disengagement should give him more passitivity calls tho. In this match he accually ties up sometimes. But in other matches he does not tie up one single time. He just jabs the forehead and disengage. But the refs have allowed him to wrestle this way for many years so why stop. But it would be boring to watch wrestling without tie ups and set ups.
