omg guys the girls are dolls i just noticed look at their finger joints and elbows and shoulders. I don't dven know why I watch anime or how the fuck I enjoy it but ya know what I do and I suppose that the pain that comes from it is a part if the experience ir something like that
stop that self pity of yours, the reason you even doubt yourself must be because in your society where you life, it's not what everyone else does. Needless to say, what everyone else does doesn't define whats good and bad for you, you define it yourself. Society is a control freak, and it creates norms to keep you where it wants you to be. Don't be another victim of it's manipulation. Anime is a very great medium, it's right between comic and reality, because it uses human anatomy but makes use of comic faces. And beyond that, the Japanese have a very unique approach to telling stories, which is why movies like "Castle in the Sky" or shows like "Evangelion" are known not only in Japan but the entire world, literally nothing I've seen compares to that magical experience. Also, I read a great analogy to the feeling you have when you end an anime once: "It's like saying good bye to a really good friend - forever". It's very accurate, because you became immersed in this world, connected with characters and followed them closely while they made you laugh, made you cry, made you root for them. And suddenly, from one moment to the other, they're gone. It's very gut wrenching. Sorry for writing a paragraph but honestly, I could right ten more about why you shouldn't pity yourself so much about your feelings, they're valid ^^
@@lunatic_3521 The reason I even wrote this in the first place...hmm. I do believe it was because I was confused. About death and all that. I felt empathy from the characters of an anime that ended up dying. But it was...how to say it...different. In that...their death was something that was entirely inevitable. You kind of knew they would end up dying. They slowly ran out of food. But in the end they made it their goal only to realize there was nothing there in the first place. Then they froze to death that very night. Sure they were laughing and messing around just before. And sure it would be more hellish a fate for them to starve to death. And perhaps it was mercy of sorts for them to die and leave behind that empty world. But still. I couldn't tell then what I can tell now. Death is not a bad thing.
@@shirori2004 That's Girls last tour isn't it, the manga ending. I only watched a RUclips essay on it but it made me cry as well. It's extremely sad...
@@lunatic_3521 haha well it would seem there was no reason to hide the name then. But yes. It was indeed. But it wasn't that alone. It started the thought for me. And then the next anime after that's bad the one after that had similar endings. It was rough to say the least. But now I am happy with the ending of all of them. Weird. But I do believe it was the best possible ending for them.
@@shirori2004 Very bittersweet, on one side you're left with great memories to look back to and on the other side you have to accept this is the end. I guess it's part of growing up to deal with these bittersweet things and since I agree with you that it was a good ending even though very tragic, I guess we both can say the story helped us grow up a little bit ;)
