There is a LOT of watch there for the price. Couple the stats with an original design and Pagani have struck this out of the park. If Pagani can apply this design process and stats to a sports watch or tool watch then they may make that step up to the next level. Great review as always.
Yup! as you said, that watch looks very sharp and nice, especially from Pagani Design. As few other people mentioned already, yes, it reminded me of 1960s IWC dress watch at 36mm. I used to have one. Very similar design, but it is not a direct copy of something else which I must give a prop to Pagani. again, it came out very nice and clean. For me, I rather have the screw in crown with 200m than none-screw in with 50m. Definitely it is a big plus. However, since this reminded me of old IWC, it would have been much nicer if it had a onion style crown, ha ha. Probably too much of a wish.... anyway, thanks for the review and I truly believe that Pagani did a fantastic job on this watch.
Pagani is very good at listening to its customers so I think if enough people ask for the onion crown they just might do it. I totally agree with that sentiment
Thanks for the comments guys - after seeing the feedback it does look close to a time only IWC Portugieser… but this isn’t a direct copy and that model is rather obscure so I still see this as their most original watch yet!
Very glad that it is 41 mm and not 38 mm. I prefer the larger size. Perfect for a watch without a fat bezel (hate dive watches) that wastes dial real estate. My wrist (7.75 in) and my eyes (getting older!) like this size. Thanks for the nice review!
I think that the screw-down crown is a nice thing to have. I have a COSC certified Certina and the crown gets snagged on my jacket and it gets pulled out and the watch stops. A screw-down crown would fix that.
That is a very sexy watch. I really like it’s simple elegance that white dial with the blue hands really makes it look more expensive than it is. For the price it’s on my list for when they do their big sales.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is a Portugieser homage, the only difference being the date where the small seconds would have been. Still looks nice.
Nice clean design. I like a 6 o'clock date. An NH36 can be dialed in much better than +14 secs per day. +14 is bordering on annoying. That's the fastest one I've heard of lately. Most are +2 to +5 out of the box. This watch is too big though and I have a 7.5 inch (19 cm) wrist. 38 mm please!
Put that on a nylon or canvas strap and you have a cracking everyday watch, the water rating means you never have to worry about any normal water related activities.
Yes I do think that there are many elements here that have been done many times… indeed no specific element is completely novel, but that goes for almost any piece under current production!
I suggest you open the case back and check the movement. Don't get surprised if you see the inferior Miyota 8215 instead of NH35 inside. It is a common practice to keep the price low.
Idk why you say that. 8200/8215 series are more successful than its counterpart nh35/nh36. So far my Citizen promaster automatic with 8215 doing good on par with entry level Swiss movements. And Miyota 90s5/9015 outperforms of the box.
Thanks for another nice video. I have written a couple of comments on another video, where you asked me a question and I answered, but they keep getting deleted. Any idea why? I have been a subscriber to your channel for a long time now and we have exchanged messages several times with no problems. Regards 😃
Hi Ivan , romantic notion being originally designed by the house of pagani but the reality isn't the case but to date probably the first pd i'd consider but for the scripting , the size is ok as a casual daily nice layout clean & legible but for 85- 90 quid to blighty on a leather strap ..nah , £75 max.
@@PerthWAtch yes, the IWC three hand Portuguieser!!! I was drawing a blank on the name. But my father has an IWC that looks just like this Pagani. It’s about 8 years old or so. Cheers.
i think this isn't original too.... there are too many watches to copy from . i think this is copy/homage from an IWC white dial with blue hands watch (probably a pilot IWC) although probably more modified than usual homages.
This is a new pagani design..!? Then they can sue other old legendary watch company from making fake design.. because of course its pagani original design. :)

Thanks mate! I look forward to seeing more original stuff from PD!

Can't have too much water resistance and a screw down crown always makes me happier
Thanks for the comments guys - after seeing the feedback it does look close to a time only IWC Portugieser… but this isn’t a direct copy and that model is rather obscure so I still see this as their most original watch yet!
Love to see a 38mm version with a PT5000 movement, and a nicer strap. That would be worth £150 of anyone's money
Yes please, that’d be a seller I reckon!
I agree, too big for a dress watch. But it's good to see an original design for a change.
Thanks Alan!
Love or hate them, Pagani Design does offer excellent value. An original design is good to see.
Yes they do and yes it is! :)

Thanks for the comment - most welcome!
We can always rely on Pagani to lean toward producing larger sizes!
I love that they have three colorways as well. They all look great
Indeed!
I think that the screw-down crown is a nice thing to have.
I have a COSC certified Certina and the crown gets snagged on my jacket and it gets pulled out and the watch stops. A screw-down crown would fix that.
Sounds rather inconvenient!
Homage of a IWC watch...
Apparently
I like this one! Really nice looking piece. I might get it. Thanks for the great review, as always.
Thanks man, most welcome!
It might be an IWC homage, but it's still a very attractive watch!
Thanks!
That is a very sexy watch. I really like it’s simple elegance that white dial with the blue hands really makes it look more expensive than it is. For the price it’s on my list for when they do their big sales.
Thanks for the thoughts Peter!
Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is a Portugieser homage, the only difference being the date where the small seconds would have been. Still looks nice.
Possibly. But you forgot the more massive difference being the chronograph dials and pushers!
@@PerthWAtch No there is a time only Portugieser.
You’re right! But hey, would you really wanna copy that? :D
Great looking watch 👍 thanks Ivan good review
Thanks James!
Its basically a chronoless iwc portugese
Yeah maybe!
This is definitely my favourite Pagani Design watch. I’m a big fan.
I think that’s because they actually did some *Design* here!
@@PerthWAtch hahaha yes. I think they put a bit more thought into this one.
I like the watch looks very neat, have ordered it, lets see how it looks upon arrival.
Awesome - all the best!
Has similarities to a number of watches. The blue variant reminds me of Longines
Similarities for sure!
+2 to +5?? No way man, most are definitely not regulated that well in my experience… only a minority are like that.
@@PerthWAtch - I was just relaying my experience with my 2 recent NH35s in Pagani watches. They run much closer than +14. Great review. Great channel!
You got 2 well regulated watches ;)
Put that on a nylon or canvas strap and you have a cracking everyday watch, the water rating means you never have to worry about any normal water related activities.
Yeah I’m thinking the sail cloth strap I had on hand might be a good match
Reminds me of many generic marine deck watch designs. Thinking Stowa Marine range, but with Longines style hands. Very nice looking watch.
Yes I do think that there are many elements here that have been done many times… indeed no specific element is completely novel, but that goes for almost any piece under current production!
I thought the same thing, and that might explain the 200M WR?
Another great review! Sharp watch
Thanks Kim :)

Interesting... did someone else do that?
Idk why you say that. 8200/8215 series are more successful than its counterpart nh35/nh36. So far my Citizen promaster automatic with 8215 doing good on par with entry level Swiss movements. And Miyota 90s5/9015 outperforms of the box.
is this accurate in time
Watch the video for the answer to this and many more questions :)

Not sure mate… RUclips tends to censor certain buzzwords and channel owners often don’t get a say in this
Good to see an original design from Pagani. You know its not bad at all, but probably not one for me.
Pagani Original - almost an oxymoron :)
@@PerthWAtch haha, indeed
Have A look at IWC Portuguese, there is some similarities.
Apparently so
They could use the same case, and turn it into a sports watch. Ya, too big for a dress watch. I like their design. Good value at this price point
Yeah agreed - could easily make it into a sport
Hi Ivan , romantic notion being originally designed by the house of pagani but the reality isn't the case but to date probably the first pd i'd consider but for the scripting , the size is ok as a casual daily nice layout clean & legible but for 85- 90 quid to blighty on a leather strap ..nah , £75 max.
It doesn’t cost that much
When need a spinability mega versus comparison !!
Haha that’s a good idea!
So nice, i hope the real one a/r coating work well, that will be the great.👍🙏
Agreed :)
I don’t regret my purchase of it. I just can’t find a band or bracelet I like for it.
Haha yeah, first world problems! :)
Oh and great review
Thanks :)
Great review as always! Very nice watch. Not an original design unfortunately. This is a copy of a much more expensive IWC.
Maybe… but if you’re referring to the non chronograph Portugieser… would you really make a copy of that??
@@PerthWAtch yes, the IWC three hand Portuguieser!!! I was drawing a blank on the name. But my father has an IWC that looks just like this Pagani. It’s about 8 years old or so. Cheers.
I wrote Pagani Design to find out about the "PT Time" thing.
They told me it means Pacific Time (uh) Time... Very strange
So it’s “pacific time time”? I don’t think they know what it stands for actually 😂😂
@@PerthWAtch I guess not. Any ideas? And thank you for your videos.
Looks a bit like IWC, those numerals are iconic, would love to see 38-40 mm, looks great otherwise
Indeed it does!
IWC Portugieser
Famous watch!

IWC time only Portugieser
It's not so much of an original design than is an homage of the IWC Portugieser. Sorry Ivan! 😅
Sure, why not!
It's an IWC Copage! 50 m. Would have been believable.
Haha thanks!
iwc homage
Closest one I think
Get the Cadisen C8173G instead :-)
Why?
@@PerthWAtch The six o'clock date window looks more readable and the dial less cluttered in my opinion ....oh and more original-looking :)
Maybe… but like I said, in the models I’ve seen Cadisen quality and finish doesn’t really stack up to Pagani…
Looks like an IWC..... maybe?????
Maybe!
If by original you mean a lot like the Longines Heritage Miltary then sure, why not.
Em… sure, why not!
I really like it 👍
Will you get one?
@@PerthWAtch Yes but not now as I'm trying to save for a Squale, I already own two Pagani watches and they are great watches

Iwc look alike I believe

Tudor 1926.
What?

Fascinating!
Not original design though..IWC-Esque..VERY

Citizen Corso
Interesting
It's very nice but too big for what it is. Would love it in 36-38mm.
Yes I would love to see 38mm!
