I am sure being the frontman on stage has its pressure and needs so much work. I haven't really thought of how it has its pressure because he has not shown it not even once. He was always so passionate on stage. But after seeing vid, I think this is one of the rare moment to see his emotion all together coming out as tears. Him standing there just after EXO was rewarded with their 1st win and giving out gratitude speech to the crowd who have supported him (his parents included) would have brought back all the memories of his hard work rush towards him. It would have been an overwhelming moment of appreciation for him.
This breaks my heart so much. His precious tears had me crying like crazy. All his hard work, finally paid off. All these years of training without proper sleep and rest, finally paid off. I am so happy, all 12 of them deserve this so much!
I hate it when ppl say kai is arrogant and attention seeking coz he's anything but. ppl only think that way because he puts so much and energy into he's performances and has great stage presence that they think he's trying to be the centre of attention but all he's really doing is passionately doing what he loves best - dancing. in reality he's very low key. I love how he doesn't put on a show when crying but instead either hides at the back or in this case pull his cap over to cover his face.
dear kai, you don't have to hide just because you let out your tears. A man crying doesn't mean a weak man, it means a feeling man. I love you no matter what, and thank you for everything.
When I saw him bow several times to the fans out of gratitude and respect, I couldn't be more sure that in this rotten world, THIS video shows the sincere feeling of a man who knows how to say "thank you" straight from heart. And these tears made me think that Exo deserve to win awards every day cause they seem like a family, like the boys who we always knew, and with a really hard work they're making their first successful steps into this competitive world of fame.
