    They’ve found that “who goes there?” Is in fact a shortened version of a longer unreleased story, and they’ve found a complete copy of said longer version, it will be released on October 6th on amazon if your interested

    The William Castle disclaimer in the beginning was unexpected, but cool.

      @@FrenchEdward06 Thanks for the reply. I intened to check out more of Joseph Payne Brennan. What I didn't say in my first message is how important it is to have such good narration, so thank you for that. One of my other favourites is British writer M R James. I'm slowly working my way through your playlists and enjoying myself a lot.

    I gave this another listen today. I think that of the three J.P.B. stories that you've done, this one is the scariest. I didn't see any camp in it. Just horror.

    i’m sorry, but this made me really laugh, especially after your dire warning! of course, you’re reading was great, but i really did detect a tongue-in-cheek inference. i can just imagine those two bodies bobbing away in the waves - two bad guys up and down, up and down. ROTFL :}

      Alexa, everyone who listens to these stories, including your humble narrator is weird. The Pavilion is comic-book funny. I think The Beast with 5 Fingers is wittier and even funnier. E.E.F.
