this song was meant for liam because he has that rough harshness to his voice brought on by some tragic event but on the acoustic version it is all about noel cuz he makes it sound so much cleaner and suts it betterfor this verson
He wasn't supposed to be singing this night, but Liam punked out, saying he had a sore throat, when in fact he was hung over. So Noel likely had not practiced the vocals the same as he would in other situations where he knew he would be singing. Still sounds pretty good to me.
@ab10tx i agree that liam's voice does seem to suit some oasis songs better than noel's would...but i think they could've gone either way for Live Forever based on this version :)
