It's a matter of opinion. I knew the DeLorean would be high on the list... it's an iconic movie car but let's face it; that car was crap and the demise of a car legend, John DeLorean (along with bundles of cocaine).
It's not a bad list but it also excluded some of the best cars in cinema; in no particular order...
1970 Dodge Challenger 440 in Vanishing Point.
1977 Pontiac Firebird "Screaming Chicken" in Smokey and the Bandit
1964 Ford GT40 in Ford vs. Ferrari
1967 Ford GT500 the elusive "Eleanor" in the Gone in 60 Seconds remake
Another Mustang...the 1968 Ford Mustang 390 in Bullitt.
Last but not least is the unforgettable fictional car.... Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from the same titled movie (I love you😂)

The first Eleanor was a 1971 fastback and was as ugly as your sister.
In the remake, which was pretty laughable, was a modified '67 GT500 and sweet!
In the early '90s I went to a car expo in crazy San Francisco at Moscone. They had the end all, be all of everything Shelby. From California Specials to GT350s to GT40s to simple pure 289s. Then there was the Daytona coupe, one of six made, and that was something else.
Point being is that "Eleanor" is like an elusive unicorn...no matter what the crappy car they decided to film with.
