It is a Bhatiyali Dhun, loosely based on the rabindrasangeet "bhenge mor ghorer chaabi", it has become a signature dhun in the Imdadkhani Etawah gharana since Ustad Vilayat Khan adopted it and added his own imagination to it, and played it at innumerable concerts since the early 1960s. This is one of very best of Bhatiyali dhuns. Extremely mellifluous.
