Hooking the back of my new Michelin Blades from Costco on my Ford 2014 Escape is just what I needed. The instructions inside or on the Michelin RUclips video showed completely wrong information. Thank you very much for your experience and little secret for putting the back on first and pushing real hard on the front. It worked perfectly! I was just about to give up until I found your video! 😁😉

I am pretty mechanically inclined. I came across you because my rear hatch motor mechanism broke and I replaced that with the help of your video. Recently, I replaced all 6 spark plugs on my 2016 MKX with NGK Rutheniums. I have replaced wheel bearings, axles on my 4x4 etc. BUT, when it came to these wiper blades, I just about lost my x&~ mind. I bought premium silicon Michelin blades and their instructions do not even have the driver in the diagram on the correct side of the car! I just about mangled these blades until I walked away to calm down before I tear something up.
Thanks again to your video. Blades are on and ready for business.

THANK YOU MY FRIEND!!!!!! I have a 2018 edge, I was just about to break the wiper arms off after trying to change the windshield wipers, it’s maddening! But now thanks to you, I finally figured it out, well, you figured it out for me! But I have got to write to Ford and ask them why in gods name they have to make it so difficult for the average person to change their windshield wipers? Little things like that is not something we should have to go to the garage to pay a mechanic to do, but I know that’s why they do it, so they can get us to come into the garage so they can make more money, not gonna happen with me! I paid 71 000 taxes included (I’m in Toronto, Canada, so it’s a bit more expensive here) got the top of the line with every single opinion available….. I figure I worked hard all my life, and now it’s not a luxury car, but I’ve always wanted something with all the bells and whistles, and with the hell we all deserve it I think, after a lifetime of working. BUT, I’m not gonna let them sucker me in to paying them more money! Besides, I’ve always been someone that likes to do things, at least the simple things, by myself, but this is the first time I have ever encountered such a difficult time changing a wiper blade. Every other car I’ve ever had, and I’m 54, and I’ve owned 22 different cars in my life of every different make and model, we’re easy to work on but this one is by far is THE most difficult I’ve ever had to change. Don’t let it go to your head, but you’re an angel, at least you’re my mechanical angel! I hope nobody heard me cursing and swearing my head off in the garage, because I live in a condominium and the sound really echoes! Lol! Thanks again, I owe ya big time!

Have a 2018 escape, first time changing blades was a pain. Miss the old j hooks. Thanks for the squeeze technique to get that front tab in. Looks much easier than putiing it in first, which I just assumed was the best way, which makes the sides so hard to get in it feels like your going to break the new wipers or bend your wiper arms trying to install the damn things. Will definitely use your squeeze technique next time. You made used to simple, turned pain in the butt maintenance operation simple again. Much appreciated.

I was able to use the Rain-EX from Walmart for my 2018 Cmax. It took some thinking and modification to the assembly clip out of the box , but they mated up very nicely. When finnished the Rain-ex logo is the crown, and the wiper arm slides in between top and bottom of assy. Once you remove the plastic black side piece, and blue piece to prep it so that the wiper slides in the middle of remaining assembly (assy.) 28 inch for the drivers side and 24 inch for the passenger side.

'14 Chevy Traverse has "funky" style. Fun until they draw blood when removing stuck old ones.

So, what you're telling me is that Ford is the Apple of the car world and has their own wiper system.
Can't stand my Ford and have another to hate it. Glad my Nissan is my daily. 😮‍💨
Thank you for this. Lets me know that the wipers I bought are pointless without this extra piece for them.
