Thanks for sharing! We are a family of 4 and we LOVE that Princess has this size of room with a balcony, because we get 2 adjoining cabins, giving us 2 rooms, and most importantly 2 bathrooms! BEST PART is it is only costs slightly more than one cabin!
Discovery Princess has identical rooms despite being a lot newer. The colour scheme has been updated and there are two USB ports in the table lamps, but otherwise identical. Including the tiny bathroom and the shower curtain. We booked the deluxe instead so we could get a sofa. I really think that's a must for a cabin. Great review, as always!
We always book a standard balcony on Princess. We will be going on our fourth trip on the Enchanted Princess in 2023 if it’s safe to travel. The larger balconies are lower down and we like being higher up on the ship. The larger balconies are also overlooked by the smaller ones higher up so there’s less privacy.
Understand that, we don't like being overlooked either. On our next cruise with Princess we have booked an aft balcony so will be interested to see what we think!
We nearly booked this cruise but the cabins did put us off, but looking forward to you showing us the rest of the ship. We have booked Anthem for next month after watching your videos!
We had B201 and would agree bathroom is tiny compared with other ships. One thing I did like was the height of the hanging rail in the wardrobe - I’m quite tall (5’ 8’’) and found my full length dresses and jumpsuits still cleared the shoes on the floor below and didn’t get wrapped around them. There was also room under the bed for our cases - but suppose that depends on the depth of your case.
Agree the wardrobe area was a great space just frustrating trying to get in and out of the bathroom at times. My dresses rarely have the same problem as I am only 5ft 1 LOL! 🤣
Agree about the standard balcony cabins being small although we do like the ‘walk in’ closet set up. We tend to vary between a deluxe balcony or mini suite when sailing with Princess, our preferred cruise line.
I agree about the cabins being so small we sailed on Royal which is the same as Regal. Beautiful ships but we missed explorers lounge and the cabin size
Comparable Carnival and RCCL standard balcony cabins both have a sofa and coffee table, so this room is definitely sub-par. But I suspect (hope) that there will be a lot of other things the Regal offers that Carnival and RCCL don’t.
As always great videos. We have booked next year on Sky Princess and have downloaded the app. So far we are having problems on about half the stuff to be cruise ready. The app just whirs for almost an hour before we give up or blank pages. I know from other vloggers that they have had similar problems and then booked in 'in the old way'. Would you consider doing a vlog on how you found the app and if any what problems you have had (if applicable) and on what parts. Then we will know whether it is just the system and keep going. When I did speak to Princess they did not make it sound we were trying to do things too early. Many thanks.
We didn't have any issues pre boarding and put all the data in but when we got to the port it didn't recognise our passport details, but it was easily sorted at the port. We did have issues when on board with the app not working properly. Our Regal Princess Vlogs start coming out so you will the issues we had.
There is a EU style socket hidden away behind the bed as well, I only found it because I asked the room steward where to plug in my CPAP machine. There is no USB in the Regal staterooms unfortunately
After your MSC and RC cabins this is definitely a hard to swallow cabin. The size won't bother me as much as the open closet, but I usually go solo. Never brave enough to go for a guarantee cabin. (LOL)
We liked the closer initially but then access to the bathroom did become frustrating. Good to try different cabins though then you definitely know what suits you best! 😀
The cabin looks fine but I do think it's strange not having a small sofa. The balcony as you say is adequate. I'm feeling rather disappointed at the moment having carefully chosen our cabin for Alaska we've been informed that Sapphire has been redeployed and we're on Royal. Not sure where they'll stick.☹️
Oh no that is disappointing about Alaska. That's why we chose Ruby rather than a newer ship, remember we chatted about this before we booked. Will be interested to see how it pans out....

Excellent, thanks for watching 😀

Agree we love a sofa too! 😍
Thank you for your tour. We are sailing in November and this is our cabin!! Exactly what we needed to know!!
Glad it was helpful!
Great review. The linen stroking cracked me up laughing.
Always look forward to your videos.
Thanks Paul! Lol the linen was so good 🤣🤣🤣
You two are awesome 👏🏻 thank for the blog 🤗
Thanks Jim! 😍

Its a nice cabin, not sure about the walk in wardrobe though, also i like a chair or small sofa, very informative and honest opinion as always 👍
Thanks Derek! 😍

Thanks for watching Geoff. We have booked a deluxe balcony on Sky Princess so will be interesting to see the differences!

They are stunning ships. We are in a deluxe balcony on Sky Princess so will be interesting to see the differences. 😀
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel I’ll be looking forward to that

Unfortunately Princess cabins are notoriously small 😊

@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel Thank you. We will wait and see.
Yes don't worry to much, once on board we didn't use the app a lot, we are a bit old school and like talking to humans lol! 😀
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel Ditto.

Oh thanks for letting us know we couldn't see it. Thanks for watching too!

Bathrobes are they in all balcony love your review thank you 🛳🛳🛳
Thanks Gail, not sure if they are. Will see if anyone else knows?
So I've always done carnival, I feel like their balcony rooms were much larger which I'm surprised.
Yes they are compared with Princess!

The next cat up the balcony cabins have a small sofa.
Oh good as that is what we have booked on the Sky Princess! 😍
Does Princess still offer your first drink free, when ordered through the Ocean Medallion?
Not sure as we had the Princess Plus Package that includes drinks.
what are the lamps by the bed plug in at? look under bed?
Will have a look next time!
arethere teamaking facilities in cabins
There’s a kettle in the video, didn’t you spot it?
As you said, ok for 4 days , but l would not like it for longer.
Yes fine for a short cruise. We have booked a deluxe balcony for our Sky Princess cruise so it will be interesting to see the size of that cabin.
Does the balcony have privacy from above?
