I have been a fan for a very long time. The first film I saw him, he played a killer/ sociopath with his school friend ( a bit like a Leopold & Loeb scenario). That film creeped out me out so much that I began to follow him. On top of that, he was such a beautiful young man. I haven't seen the two films they talked about because I have refused to go to a movie for a decade because I so object to the costs of the "art" including the actors' salaries and the subjects many times becoming cruder and more gross. If I were to it would be to an Eddie Redmayne film (depending on the subject-I am tired of violence in a violent world and think it contributes to the increasing violence we, now, see on a daily basis. And the crudeness of much of what is out there). On the other hand, I am still a fan of his.
