- Since TWW Pre patch the xp needed to go from 60-70 has been nerfed! If you're spamming dungeons you only need to reach lvl 35, collect all the xp threads and then collect all the bonus xp tokens in your mail to reach 70
Hey guys, Blizzard released MoP Remix a couple of weeks ago and I've been playing it a lot. After leveling 28 alts from 10-70 In around 1-2 hours and trying out all different kind of leveling methods in MoP remix. I wanted to make a short video and share with you guys how I level up my alts from level 10-70 in under 2 hours. Till now the fastest time I was able to get my alt from lvl 10-70 was in 1 hour and 30 minutes but I think I can get that maybe down to around 1 hour.
Since level 20 characters are broken in MoP Remix you could, If you don't have a 2nd paid account use a lvl 20 trial account character to boost your main account characters. There are people that are able to run dungeons within a minute with their lvl 20 boosting character which is crazy.
I still don't have decent cloak stats on my level 20 trial character so maybe once I get that character up and running that I'll be able to run 55 dungeons in a hour.
Just a couple of things to keep in mind:
The methods I talk about only work for your alts if you have the 4200 threads achievement.
Don't pick up Bonus XP Tokens in the raid.
You can use trial account characters to get insta dungeon queues.
If you don't have 2nd paid account you can use a lvl 20 trial account character to boost your main account characters.

Quick question tho, what's the plan for the alts once Remix event ends and you're left with lv70 alts with no gear? This is what concerns me, because I actually WANT to use the alts once they become standard.
Uhm I think they get pushed to the retail servers with ilvl 415 which kinda sucks but, with the pre patch event you'll be able to gear them up to a higher ilvl pretty fast I think. (I hope) 😅
Thanks man, didn't know about some of these methods. For the 20 priest alt account method, what stats (in terms of numbers) does your priest cloak need to solo the heroics?
With the threads buff it's very easy to make a OP lvl 20. Just try to complete most achievements in the jade forest, krasarang and the valley of the four winds and you'll be OP as hell. Basically each achievement that you complete will give you a huge amount of stats on your cloak now because of the spool of threads buff. If you want to start soloing things I'd say you need atleast 1000 stam and 50 percent vers/crit as holy. After completing most achievements and getting a lot of stats because of that I'm at 4k stam and all other stats are above 100% which makes me able to complete HC dungeons in 1 minute whaha.

so are you able to make a lvl 20 char on the 4 trial accounts and run with you main account on the same comp and get the bronze and lvl a char? and if you have a lvl 70 cape can you just give it to a lvl 10 char n have the same stats I just started an account last night trying to figure this out cuz my guys lvling slow
How can the alts get into moshugan vaults if they’re only lvl 20
Has this been nerfed? Never did normal raids on my guys, but tried doing it with a friend, but he could not even loot normal raid bosses, and therefore does not get any xp threads to increase cloak.

How do you keep your Alts alive during raid boss fights … I’m losing time in some of them rezzimg … I have main 476 bis running 4 alts though the three raids so when they die in the boss room it takes time to res them back then to loot …

Your alts so they can still boss but not die if possible ?
Buy a lot of resurrection scrolls and res them all after the fight. You also don't have to loot the bosses. All the loot gets mailed.
How do you play with so many different characters at the same time? Do you open multiple clients with different accs then set everything up and boost your main char?
Select a diferent WOW account above the play button, hit play again.
You setup WOW2, WOW3... starter accounts at the website first.

in regards to the lvl 20 twink priest. what stats are we looking for at a minimum would you say? How many dungeons did you run on them to get to the point you could spam yourself through dungeons?
30% versatility? Also if you're going solo you can swap from holy to shadow. You do more damage, can save sanity for tougher bosses and just put vamp touch on more things if rooms get dicey.
Crit and haste is what I’ve focused on. It really only takes getting yourself into mostly blue gear and some threads before you start getting better and better at doing heroic runs at that point.
Holy does way more than shadow at 20, I currently have a 20 twink dor this
100% crit and haste
80% vers
1 shots mobs in heroic and can kill a boss solo in 20 seconds.
With searing light gem the heals from hitting teammates also hit all enemies hard often being the top damage contribution
Victory fire for trash just blows them all up
Also have all trinkets, rings and necklace equipped on my 20
@@damiancooney7591 If you don't have high health level 70s near you seering light/holy is worthless. Holy is a great way to gear up with other active humans but not good for solo or max speed.
Cant manage to invite the trial acc char I opened to party it says player not found, what am i doing wrong?
Make sure it's a trial timerunner character, also make sure that you've typed the character name-realm correctly. I have no idea why else it would not work.

Are you saying to run the character that’s being boosted through raids by soloing the 3 raids with a level 20 trial character? And keeping the boosted character on auto follow? Or am I not understanding? My trial account level 20 holy priest with like 3k or so threads can solo heroic dungeons no problem but I didn’t even imagine trying to raid with that one. Especially not solo, I figured I’d get destroyed lol.
Sadly you can't run raids with trial characters since you need to be lvl 25 for Mogushan Vaults, 35 for Heart and 45 for Terrace. So if you're only using your lvl 20 trial account character you're better off spamming hc dungeons to boost your main characters. This will go really fast as well since a lvl 20 with a decent amount of cloak stats can rush dungeons within 1-3 mins.
@@ItsDanta ohh okay. I wasn’t sure if they could run in without using LFR. And yeah, doing heroic dungeons over and over is all I’ve been doing and I haven’t made good time yet. I think because it takes a lot longer than the videos show to kill bosses with my holy priest. I rarely have a geared level 70 for Searing Light to do major damage off of so I’m mainly relying on regular abilities and spamming Holy Nova. It’s not terribly slow but it definitely takes me a lot longer than 2 hours. Especially since queues aren’t instant unless I fill 4 or 5 group members up myself, which is a huge pain.
I have a 70 shaman, that i leveld as a "main" for remix...i want to level other alts to 70s for TWW...not in the mood for current df tho...let me see if i got it right, doing alone with my alt can be done then, spam dungeons, don't pick exp, level to 55 then use all the exp items, i mean without the trial thing
Yeah that will work but since you will be doing it alone without a alt account you do have to deal with randoms which can slow you down a bit but it does work :)
I created a starter account and got them to level 20 but I can't find my main when trying to invite -- the toons are on different realms but still cannot find them
Do you type /invite name-realm. Without any spaces?
Damn was hoping this was the first toon leveled cause im coming into it late.
Took me about 16-18 hours played from 10-70 on a Fresh Remix character.
Yeah the first char that you lvl will not go that fast but once you start getting more and more xp gain on your cloak it will go pretty fast :) It took me around 8 hours to go to lvl 70 on my first character but I already played mop 12 years ago so I kinda knew what to do already.
so whit 300% cloak at 55 whit all the xp in the mail will get u lvl 70?

no if you want it faster.
No you never loot the xp tokens in dungeons, only in raids :) When you open your mailbox after running all 3 raids you will get all of the tokens you did not loot and they will be increased by around 300%
it goes really fast the leveling.but it takes the whole event until you can use the characters
Yeah all the alts that I've leveled up feel like throw away characters lol

How are you getting bronze without looting? When I skip looting, everything goes to my mailbox but bronze. The bronze is lost.
You only get the 40k bronze from reaching lvl 70 and turning in the quests at the upgrade npc. You also get lots of armor that you scrap for bronze.
@@ItsDanta I have leveled 5 characters to 70. I haven’t received the 40k bronze quest on any of them. I think it might only be for characters that were around during the frog farm exploit, that didn’t exploit.
@@CurieBohr No you should be getting it on any character that you make. I've gotten it on all 42 characters that I got to lvl 70 :)

just spam heroics, i get each toon to level 70 in 2 hours 30 minutes

@Mornock it's very much doable in 2 hours. If you min max it with external help you can get it to around 1 hour as shown by harldan
Insta queue as he said use 5 accts. And maker your own raid group.
You reduce the time a lot by either using trial accounts or making your own groups for the 3 named normal raids. If you do those 3 raids you will have a 300% xp gain cloak which will let you lvl up very fast. Also with some tweaking it's possible to get to 70 in 1 hour and 30 minutes x)

They ninja nerfed this or something i have to keep changing windows during boss fights to get loot in the mail on windowed mode on my main account while my trial account kills bosses

@@Chaos_and_Harmony Yep every time i go to kill a boss on my trial account with my main account at the entrance the window blinks and i dont get all the boss loot in the mail just some. Like the armory i only got 1 exp token for all those bosses.
Just checked it out and it still works. I keep getting all the loot in the mailbox when I'm done.
@@ItsDanta I wonder if its because my main account got reported as afk a few times while i was clearing on my trial account. Either way it doesnt give me all the boss loot now. Just the ones i click the window over to the character i am boosting during the boss fight.
@@Polisht Working right now for me, just keep characters from afking by mousing over screen and jumping
Keep windows small and lined up and one big windows for lvl 20 booster, then use windows mousover active window function.
how is a level 20 trial character going to help you, when there are no raids that you can enter at level 20? Do you do the raids regularly, hoping someone is OP to rush through, and then use your level 20 trial for the random heroics only?
As mentioned in the video, if you use your lv20 trial char you simply have to spam dungeons till your main is lv55. After that you open your mailbox and youll be lvl 70
I don't see how you can power level your alts this way if you only have one account since you need your strong main character in the party as well as the ones you want to power level.
He explains it: Go to your account management page for Blizzard > Games & Subs > scroll down to the bottom > Create Starter account. These are in the launcher in the Live dropdown menu and listed as WoW1 (Starter Edition), WoW2, etc. To log in, select one of them, go through the login process, go back to the launcher, select another account, repeat, until they're all logged in.
You don't need a strong main. You need a free trial account linked to the same bnet. Because you'll have a level 20 capped character which gets crazy boosted by the cloak and has level 20 scaling.
@@netneo4038 Still sounds like too much of a hassle. I rather do everything with just my main account and be done in 2~3 hours with just Heroics + each raid once on normal.
its not possible, you wont get invited to raids immediately, and so on
That's why like I said, you have to either boost yourself with a geared character or make your own group which everyone will join instantly.
