Hey, I just got into BF5 and started piloting right away, only grinding the Zero A5M5 (and the American counterpart if I am not in the Japenese team). I finally unlocked the 2x rockets and they are amazing. Right now Im trying to unlock the scope spotting and heres my question: Are you actually spotting those targets yourself when you attack them with the normal machine guns? This would be quite amazing. Because right now (Im playing on PS5) I mostly can only attack infantry targets that are already spotted by my team and therefore resort to dogfighting and perhaps attacking tanks / AA mounts or other things that are clearly visable. I found the learning curve to be quite steep and AA to be pretty powerful as well as most other pilots are far more experienced (Im level 11 now lol) but still: Im making progress and its a actually a lot of fun. If the scope spotting actually works like that then I will be in for a blast lol. Nice video / channel!
The Spotting Scope works by Aiming Down Sight (ADS) and being within a certain distance to the target and within a certain radius of the middle of your sight.
@@LuckyBaconTrainHello, how do you switch from 3rd person view to 1st person view to look up, left and right? Which buttons have set for free look+ look back, look up, look left, look right? Thank you so much....
I'm glad you asked this because it made me give it some thought. You know how you can't look behind you in first person? Maybe bind that button to looking up. I forget if it's L3 or R3.
i started out as a horrible pilot, now i'm pretty good, according to my battlefield tracker im in the top .08% of the world...it all came from just flying and experience, mainly against other good pilots. I can give some tips here: When in a dogfight, and you are trailing a plane, learn to read the plane in front of you in terms of when its slowing or not. Most pilots blow past someone who brakes all the time. If a good pilot is on your 6, chances are you are dead anyway as they usually have good aim and can judge your speed and movements. Always check your 6 after strafing a target, make that a habit. Learn how to use your cockpit view when in dogfights. When AA is on you, most try to climb or fly away but mainly diving low to the ground and out of view will get you from getting smoked from AA most of the time. This is pending on the distance you are from said AA. Watch the flags and your friendlies on flags, thats where the action usually is. Look for painted targets. Learn where the AA's are on every map and the safe spots to counter them. Every map has them. and last and most importantly....this is all from experience and i just recommend flying as much as possible.
The 2x on the Zero do the same damage as the 8x. I'm trying to remember if it was always like that or if it changed at some point. It is so unfair to the Americans since the Zero can 2 pass a tank while the Corsair has to 3 pass (if using the 2x 8x is a two pass)
It is. Don't ever bother with the 8x rockets. They do the same damage as the 2x. Different story for the Corsair. The 8x do more damage to the tanks than the 2x.

Thank you so much
You're welcome. Was it helpful?
@@LuckyBaconTrain very thank you so much
@@LuckyBaconTrain I got 120 kill and 2 death today after your watching your video and learn how to fly correctly :D
Great video my friend, keep it up!Big like👍
Hey man do you think you could do a setting video? You are very good at flying and you are on console, so I would really appreciate that! Thank you!
Im think that im a good pilot, do u recomend me to create a yt chanel?
Go for it!
I'm only good at flying the zero, bf-109, stuka, mosquito, ju-88, and the P-51. Still gaining skill on the rest
Keep it up
What specializations do u use bro
This run I used the 6x HMG with 2x rockets.
What key do you set to look up after the enemy plane passes by in the cockpit during a dogfight?
I'm glad you asked this because it made me give it some thought.

Better yet. Make L3 or R3 your repair and use the D-pad for your camera settings. Idk, what're your thoughts?
Ufff good
Thanks. When I rewatch my videos I notice some mistakes. It's like reviewing football game tapes.
@@LuckyBaconTrain jejejeje yes don't worry they're still good
@@LuckyBaconTrain that's good bro
@@LuckyBaconTrain still better than most of us.
Have you ever thought of doing guides on how to become a better pilot?
As decent pilot I mainly had too learn flying and tastics on my own

Why do u use that kind if colours? Arent blue and red more visible?
I am protanopia colorblind. That green pops more in certain instances for me.
@@LuckyBaconTrain oh. Ok. I thounght u chose it for a strategic purpose. That makes your playing even better. 👍
Tried the 2x rockets today after watching this video. I'll never go back to the 8x

8x rockets are long range low impact hits, 2x rockets are close range high impact hits
@@LuckyBaconTrain glide bomb does 97 damage. 3 health is almost always dealt by the resupply near him.
You need aiming lower with the 2x rockets dont u?
The 2x do hit above the center of the crosshair.
@@LuckyBaconTrain yes, they do
Very solid game!!!!
the m5 is cracked both on ground and air
