Grace is a pure talent!!! Her band is a awesome. I'm really thankful I discovered them, by chance, clicking videos on You Tube one night quite a while ago. Better late than never. Her roots in music remind me of growing up in the 70's.
Grace is the real deal! She has a beautiful voice and I do mean both . . . her singing and song writing voice. Love her music. Isn't it the connection we feel no matter the medium be it music, literature, art, etc. that makes it personal very much like the connection we seek in friends and love? Only, this one comes low maintenance, completely gratifying, drama free, and easy and painless to replace.
I do not know why there were dislikes but you can't please everybody I guess. I am 56 and in my lifetime I have heard and liked all styles of music and THIS lady can sing damn good music. No thump thump thump and loud bass to drown out the message. I still enjoy hearing good lyrics and not having to have it interpreted to me because it is in the language of Rap. Not downing Rap, it just isn't my style of music and there are some rappers who do have good messages for the teens of today.
i can explain why there are 2 dislikes. dislike 1: a mother's child was being held at gunpoint and the criminal forced her to dislike it. dislike 2: a guy went to get a soda and he tripped on something on the floor and accidentally fell and hit the dislike button.
Unfortunately The Nocturnals were not given enough credit! If she had stayed and worked with that group they could have continued to climb and taken over in the industry. They just were not going to sell out to “the promoters taking over”. That’s what I feel after following reading everything. She needed to recognize and work with Cat not leave break up everything and waste time with Chesney. Just saying, so sad.
I have yet to find a song by Grace that I DON'T like or I DON'T end up listening to at least twice. Most times more! She's amazing.
