"The first time I got to come and be with you in London was C2C. It was March of 2018, and I was told on the phone that the journalists .. before you come over you do all the media stuff .. and they're like, 'You're not ready for what it's gonna be like.' And I was like, 'Sure, I probably am.' And they're like, 'No, they're gonna know every song.' And you did. You knew stuff that was drunk me, 19 years old in a bar, on RUclips. And I played that little spotlight stage, I played all of the songwriter stuff and all the small stages. There was that really tiny room, and then I played the spotlight stage, and I'm in this arena and there's 23,000 people and this tiny stage and me. And the only thing between me and 23,000 people was a guitar. So thank you for taking me, and taking us, from every size venue we could find that we could get anybody to let us play in, to the Eventim Apollo."
