I read thru a chronological bible once and enjoyed it quite a lot. It gave a nice understanding of how things fit together. My only issue is that the chronological bibles are guessing about the order in some places, so it can put a spin on some things. Overall, I think everyone who can should read thru a chronological bible at least once.

I love how you answered this question. I do have a chronological order Bible I read through a couple of times a year. But also I agree that the order the Bible is in was intentional by God.

I totally agree here. For historical books like Kings & Chronicles, reading chronologically is EXTREMELY helpful in following the *history*. The gospels are a little bit different, I think.

I believe god had a hand in the bible but the order of the books was 100% man

As An Atheist reading The Bible, my approach has been to start at page one. I am appalled at how rare this reading strategy is. And I get it. I think. Wanna lose your faith? read Genesis.

Everything in scripture has an explanation. I recommend reading with commentary and understanding the context. The Bible is the only book with 100% accurate prophecy, and God is good and just. We cannot understand everything in the Bible--we just have to trust. 💗
