      That what it's all about, Cooking is a "ART" that's what you can do is tweak the recipe a little ( i use to watch my gran-mom cook and learned a lot from her AND SHE ALWAYS TWEATED HER RECIPES!) like a musician that plays a instrument if they're lucky enough to make a record they get tired of playing the song the same way all the time, So they play with it when they do concerts. PS. I can tell you love music THAT'S WHY I USED THAT AS A EXAMPLE NEXT TIME I WILL USE Oreo's cookies with strawberries ( with all the ingredients you put in yours) the chocolate and strawberries sound good, I just hope it taste as good

    Hi! I enjoy your videos and I'm starting a food truck in charlotte and I'm making a variety of egg rolls on my truck I love this recipe.. I want to know is there anyway to prep a lot of these at once? can you freeze refrigerate etc?

    • @AverageGuysGourmet
      @AverageGuysGourmet  7 лет назад +3

      Yes you could prep the whole thing in advance and chill (refrigerate) it after wrapping them if you wanted to fry them as you went. Like pull a few out drop them in the frier when they are ordered. I don't think freezing would work because I am not sure the whole filling would though enough before the wrapper cooked all the way.

    • @AverageGuysGourmet

      grace fugate they would be really small. I would just fill them and fold them in half, then frying them rather than trying to roll them.

      @gracefugate3184 6 лет назад +1

      Average Guy Gourmet thank you I already have won ton wrappers on hand. I'm sorry to bother but have you ever just backed them instead of frying I have the copper basket for my oven. It's my first time using won ton wrappers?

    • @AverageGuysGourmet
      @AverageGuysGourmet  6 лет назад

      grace fugate yes you can bake them. Set the oven to 375-400 brush them with a little olive oil and let them got for about 15 minutes. They should get crispy. You could also put about an inch of oil in a skillet of you did want to fry them. I 😁😁 my dad got me that single basket fryer lol so I use it as much as I can lol.

      @gracefugate3184 6 лет назад +1

      Average Guy Gourmet yeah love the basket and not having to use big oven (I got bake oven size) and no oil. I've not ever been a fan of frying not as much for the fact of the caleries as much as the fact I hate having to watch over it the mess and the frieght of burns lol

    • @AverageGuysGourmet
      @AverageGuysGourmet  5 лет назад

      You don't want to let them get cold, but let them cool for about 5ish minutes. Cool enough to bite into without burning yourself, but warm enough to be a bit melty.

    • @AverageGuysGourmet
      @AverageGuysGourmet  5 лет назад +1

      @@evan938 that should be ok. I would think about 350/375 no more than 10 minutes but keep an eye on them. The other way is make them but don't fry them, freeze them and then fry them the day of. You may come out with better results.

    DO NOT EAT THAT!
    The egg is NOT cooked enough to eat!
    You probably will not die, but when these egg rolls sit around for a couple hours, they will make you sick. Soo- if you make this, take it to a party, everyone that eats them, gets diarrhea, only you know what went wrong.
    (Everyone ate a 2-hour old, raw egg...eeew)

    • @AverageGuysGourmet

      Let them cool off a little before eating them. If they have been sealed nothing should escape (none of the melted cheese should get out). If they are staying liquid too long, try cooking them for a little less time.
