I am not sure about you guys, but for me Solji didn't sing because she want to become the King, it's because she just love to sing, 10 years without anyone notice and still not giving up that show how much she love to sing, so we should all support her and let her sing as many songs she like also let her enjoy the stage that where she belong, please stop saying " you already win enough please take off your mask!!!"
It was not only her singing but also her manner. Every time after gaining/retaining the King title, the first thing she did was simply bowing to the ground giving the ultimate respect to the audience and judge panel. Despite that could be the local culture but it is not easy feat at all I must say. .

Solji's vocals have really upgraded since she went on hiatus to focus on her health. You can hear how easy it is for her to reach these high notes now compared to before her break where it was hoarse or you could hear her strain them notes. Now it's so clear and well-produced. She's really become a force to be reckoned with vocally (she always was but now she's just crazy).
Dude, you nailed it medically. Thyroid disease causes hoarseness and significant vocal issues. Her time away to take care of this will pay off big time vocally.

She sounds like she did some serious vocal training on her hiatus. She doesn't sound as tight in especially her higher registers, and sounds so much more open and relaxed. I'm so proud of her to keep improving despite all her hardships❤
since she had a thyroid disease i doubt she spent a lot of time training. a thyroid disease can really affect the voice, the main reason she sounds better is probably that she's finally healthy again. falsetto is a term usually used for male singers, it literally means "false voice", cause it sounds unnaturally high. do you mean whistle? but i wouldnt really say she does that either? what do you mean by "nearly resonant"? resonance, in physical terms, exists in every sound; in musical terms, (to simplify) it's that full, rich kinda sound. she won like a gazillion times so i'd say she got that down lol, not to mention she used to be a vocal teacher. how can you be nearly resonant lol there are some great vocal teachers on yt who make videos explaining terms and techniques if you're interested in learning more, but please stop throwing around terms you clearly don't really understand. literally no one who knows ath about music talks like that.

I think one of the reasons that Solji won was because she has so much emotion to her performances. You could feel her frustration in the high notes, and towards the end you can tell how she made the notes drag a bit with almost no pitch to say that she was tired of feeling down...

I’ve cried every video of Masked Singer that I see of Solji, you can tell she puts her heart and soul into every performance. Her voice is heavenly, in my opinion there are many good vocalist in KPOP but I don’t think any of them have ever made me feel every emotion under the sun like Solji has, her voice breaks boundaries and makes you feel things you never knew were possible. I do want her to show her face but I don’t want to stop hearing her sing and I know she’s missed the stage and being able to sing for people after her 2 year hiatus so I’ll keep cheering her on to win because god only knows how much she’s suffered not being able to do the thing she loved the most and worked so hard for. I don't know why people said she's been practicing since she's been gone. She's been a singer for a VERY long time, you don't get better by a large margin out of no where. She just never had the opportunity to sing whatever songs she wanted to.

Definitely true, while Solji defeated Park Ki-Young, it could have been close if she chose a song that has much more impact and has a longer lingering effect. I agree with you. When I first listened the audio of Park Kiyoung's Last COncert, I got emotional but I already could predict the score wouldnt be really high because it wasnt that full of impact. I mean just compare Park Kiyoung's Last Concert and Solji's How Are You... The former actually had high notes but not as many as the later. The former had too many 'relaxed' moments compared to Solji so yeah...

Although Dongmakgol Girl’s singing technique is not as good as her challenger, he mastered and delivered her emotion, as well as her sorrow, more vividly. No wonder she could hold on to her victorious position by landslide 80:19 despite less strong in the technique department. The MC commented about Dongmakgol Girl’s 13 hours wait to deliver her singing. The MC may not able to precise his meaning as the real identity of DG is not revealed yet. If DG is indeed Solji, the MC's real meaning is holding on the title is not easy at all for a recently medically recovered Solji. .

I’ve cried every video of Masked Singer that I see of Solji, you can tell she puts her heart and soul into every performance. Her voice is heavenly, in my opinion there are many good vocalist in KPOP but I don’t think any of them have ever made me feel every emotion under the sun like Solji has, her voice breaks boundaries and makes you feel things you never knew were possible. I do want her to show her face but I don’t want to stop hearing her sing and I know she’s missed the stage and being able to sing for people after her 2 year hiatus so I’ll keep cheering her on to win because god only knows how much she’s suffered not being able to do the thing she loved the most and worked so hard for. SOLJI UNNIE FIGHTING! Leggo loves you and will always support you and when and if you lose I can’t wait for everyone to see your face and be awed and in shock of what pure talent you posses. 💕😍😭

Her song choice is really good... although I wished Park Kiyoung to win (her last song was good and emotional but it wasnt too suitable for this show's format because the song didnt allow her to use her vocal range to the fullest)... I thought Solji did well. Not only her song choice was perfect, but also being the last one to perform was also advantageous for her :)
Definitely true, while Solji defeated Park Ki-Young, it could have been close if she chose a song that has much more impact and has a longer lingering effect. I definitely like her song but when I heard it, I definitely could tell that its not a song the could compete with Solji's R3 performance Dream Lover.
I agree with you. When I first listened the audio of Park Kiyoung's Last COncert, I got emotional but I already could predict the score wouldnt be really high because it wasnt that full of impact. I mean just compare Park Kiyoung's Last Concert and Solji's How Are You... The former actually had high notes but not as many as the later. The former had too many 'relaxed' moments compared to Solji so yeah...
The last one to perform is an advantage for every king，that is not only for solji who is king now.
