It takes a skilled and practiced artist to really capture what a character looks like. It takes someone with a special gift to also show you how they are feeling. Once in a long time, however, you will find a true genius, who can reach beyond that: Under the mere emotions of the moment, there is a history, a personality, and a soul: From the watercolor comes a human being that could almost be made of flesh and blood. In other words: Wow.
That particular shade of red on against her pale skin. The harsh chains on the delicate face. The backdrop of straight lines with soft, running streaks of color in the front. I love the contradictions in this one. It's tied together with the girl herself, just painted perfectly. You can see the raw, striking emotion in her eyes. It really just captivates me. Very well done.
This is gorgeous!! I love that the faces you paint always convey a subtle emotion and the viewer can easily and almost automatically think of a story behind the painting. With this one, I see a woman who is muted by her wealth, as if the riches silence who she really is. Amazing work!
As a long time artist and water-colorist, I commend you on always capturing that human emotion in the eyes of your subjects. This is NOT easy to do! You have such talent.
I just fell in love remediless with this piece. The temperature of her skin and those teary eyes that contrast perfectly with the geometric diamonds. You have enough flattery down here, and I adore your job, that´s sure, but with this piece... Holy mother of mathematics, you've stolen my soul.
Sei la mia artista preferita, direi quasi il mio idolo e non smetterei mai di guardare i tuoi video perché è come se ogni volta che li guardo imparassi qualcosa di nuovo. Grazie Silvia!
I'm not typically a fan of art that is involved with human portraits, but there's so much emotion with an "unknown" face and you style is magnificent.. It captivates me. Your work really has a way of conveying so much and telling a story.
"I live in a box of paints..." (From Joni Mitchell, Case of You). I love watching you paint, the subjects all seem to show a bit of their soul seeping out. Thank you.
Your work has inspired me to start painting again, for the first time in about 7 years I picked up some watercolours last night (I always used to hate watercolours) The results weren't amazing but I'm still quite happy with it, I enjoyed it and I'm gonna keep at it. I owe you a thanks for that.
I think it'd be so cool if you put up the video in it's entirety instead of speeding it up. I'd literally sit here and watch you for how many days that would take. I LOVE YOUR WORK!!! ♥
This was absolutely beautiful. Although, if you had painted in the diamond behind her head, in my opinion, I think it would've been even more amazing. This was amazing!!!
Whoever I have shown your work to, think that your work is scary/creepy... But I've always loved your work because its so beautiful. Your so talented, I hope you never stop sharing your work with us
That was beautiful...wow. I can never tear myself away from your videos, they're inspiring and absolutely beautiful....thank you for making this video! :D
There is no need for tutorial. Tuts. for anatomy, basic proportions etc. are plenty, rest is just hours and hours of practicing. Btw. nice work Agnes. :)
I absolutely love your artwork, you are just so talented! But I'm curious as a fellow artist what kinds if tools and supplies that you use to make such wonderful pieces of art.
All your art is so inspirational, and so beautiful and can be interpreted in so many ways.. The music always matches the artwork and it's just so moving, you're art is so lovely..... Best of wishes, xo
aaah this is really inspiring and I enjoyed it so much watching you paint. I really value the quality of your video...music, angle and speed are perfect ^^ thanks for sharing your work.
Wow, beautiful painting, I love watercolor. Is it hard to learn how to paint in watercolor? I've never physically painted before, I only draw or paint digitally with my tablet.
If I use regular pencil to lay out my drawings, I find myself erasing little bits at a time before I paint or draw (colored pencil) the area. Pencil lines shine through my cheap watercolors (maybe that's the problem...cheap) and pencil smears in my colored pencil drawings. Do you find the same issues or use something else bc of these issues? Just curious. Beautiful work as always. I've stumbled upon a few amazing artists this year thanks to DeviantArt, great work!
I have watched this so many times and all of your other videos you are such a beautiful artist and one of my inspirations ☺️ I am in college on a level 2 art course thank you for letting me see another form of art and by the way it is so magical 😍😍
You are an amazing artist! I would love it if you did a how to on drawing faces, I see some you do free hand, but would like to see your face drawing techniques.

I thinks that's cool, because there gold lines over her face and gold is expensive so the "richness" of the gold is covering who she really is!
You ever look at certain pieces of artwork and you just wanna cry because it's so unbelievably gorgeous? This. This.
wow. now here is a prime example of a person supportive of an artist's growth.

I love that technique you use the one wear you lift the paper and let the paint fall! Going to try that!
