I think the intent is to demonstrate the machine's -- and the operator's -- capabilities, rather than a new and improved method for auto dismantling. There might well be situations where an unwanted piece of equipment, say for example an obsolete tank or steam locomotive, is too big to shred whole and must be broken down into manageable-sized pieces.
They didnt even bother to drain the fluids, im surprised the alarm didnt go off when they started tearing it apart. My question is; if they just put all the parts on a single pile, what was the point? They may as well just shredded the car in a tenth the time
That operator of that machine is a great operator..He does know for sure what he is doing on tearing up a vehicle.. Keep up the good work!!!

Tech demo, I guess. Still, they should have drained out the air con refrigerant, that stuff is bad for the environment.
Neat machine, but next time don't forget to drain out the air conditioning refrigerant. Kinda important.
