+Enderbro11 The lead singer literally came out on stage at Louder than Life in a tank top that said "Who the fuck is Justin Bieber?" Reason #816272927 why they have been favorite band since I was 8.
I discovered them through having my own radio in my room. K-rock used to be the shit. Surprises me when I hear ppls moms are into this kind of rock and then I go to the concerts and then I’m not surprised 😂
My soulmate took his own life February 25th of 2023. I’m going back now and listening to all his songs, this is one that he played a lot. I know what the band says this song represented but, each person it has different meanings. I just wish that I knew what he was going through, but he kept everything inside. A lot of his songs that I listen to now I wish that I didn’t just think it was his music taste and just his enjoyment of how a song sounded. This song hits very deep for me. And I’m still coming to terms with his passing.
I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard to know when someone doesn't tell you how they are feeling. People who truly want to end their lives, often don't say anything because they don't want to be stopped. I hope you find healing and peace again ❤🙏
I'm sorry 😢. Me and husband cry and scream cause how people have treated us. I watch him when he's in a 10 year mood. I fear he's not strong enough to keep it together sometimes. I'm very sorry for your loss. It's a fear I live with every day. I've kept mine clean for 8 yrs. I hope I can help him before he does something.
i seen them in 2013. he came out on stage and says, "we are herpe and the heartbreakers. 10 years couldn't make it, i guess the assholes got to drunk to show up". didnt expect that to come out his mouth. He's an awesome and funny dude.
the first time I heard this song-at the beginning I thought "the fuck???" but as soon as it got to the chorus I thought "you know what-its growing on me"
I saw 10 Years back in 2008 on Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution Tour at the Blossom Music Centre in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, became a fan after their set finished.
I actually got to see these guys in Abilene Texas with Chevelle. That's been like 6 years ago, and it was the first time I'd ever heard of them. Been a fan ever since
Just woke up singing this in my head. I remember hearing this on the radio all the time. Come to find out it was 10 years ago and I was singing the wrong lyrics lol. Really a great song, burned in my memory for a decade now.
For me the transitions make me love this song so much, how it goes from heavy to soft and singing to screaming. I just love how it changes so fast. I have seen them live twice, too bad it was before this song :(
10 Years is such a HUGE influence on what we do!!! Thanks for all of the great tunes guys!! PRESOMNIA would love to share the stage with you guys and melt faces with you!!
Feeding the wolves is from a metaphor. We reach have two wolves inside of us, one wolf is pride ego greed anger hate etc whilst the other wolf is love kindness compassion happiness etc. At the end of the day it comes down to which wolf did you feed?
+Evan Williams Can I ask for the source of which you got the two wolves thing from? I've never heard of that and would be interested to read more about it.
***** Japanese Chinese I'm not sure I was curious as to where they came up with the cd title feeding the wolves and I stumbled upon that and also read it in a book
Pov: It’s the middle of the night, you’re scrolling through the music channels on your tv and find this on the hard rock station. This gentlemen is how I was introduced to 10 Years.
10 years is fucking amazing. They deserve more credit for their music then what they get. Its so in depth. Absolutly LOVE IT. Keep doing what your doing guys.
NOBODY has ever heard of ANYTHING until they hear about it. Why are people always saying that? Unless you think you should have been born with all the knowledge of every band that ever has or will exist. "I never heard of them" REALLY? Weird.........
I used to listen to the song Wasteland by them since 2010 on satellite radio, (on one of the rock stations), when I was traveling; I just looked up the song with lyrics.
I saw them at Ghost Show #6 December 2018. They basically described this song as a middle finger to the industry. (VIP/ Ghost Shows are totally worth the extra money)
TEN YEARS HAS MY RESPECT, THEY ARE NOT STUCK UP AND ABOUT THE MONEY, I KNOW CUZ THE LEAD SINGER ACTUALLY CAME UP TO ME AND SHOOK MY HAND AND THANKED ME FOR SHOWING UP...
I just seen Aeges, 10years, and Chevelle in Dallas, Tx at The Southside Ballroom. Hell of a concert they all ROCKED!!! Oh I caught Brian Vodinh drum stick. hell yeah!!! I gave it to my 18 yr old daughter who was also at the concert with me. This was her second concert first being Chevelle and wanted to see them again, which we were able to see 10years and would definitely see them again.
Jesse always comes really close to us people in the front when he says Your feeding the wolves don't you know better?"he always well the last 3, times I was front of the stage he let's me sing with him, gotta love 10 Years 2,more months see you gentlemen at the Summit
This song was written to appease their record label. The lyrics were actually taking a jab at the label and they didn't get it. This is why they launched their own label Palehorse.
Jeremy Bianco Nope not kidding. Seen Chevelle twice live one of the worst live bands I've seen. 10 years on the other hand while not among the top bands I've seen live, so much better than Chevelle when it comes to a live show.
When I listen to this song I hear a situation where a generous person is basically being taken advantage of by their friend or lover what have you until the point that they pretty much bleed them dry.
I didn't say this song was about sex...I was referring to the lyrics: "Shoot it, shoot it out 'cause they want it, want it now, now Shoot it, shoot it out 'cause they want it, want it now." It sounded sexual upon my first hearing of it.
Y'all aren't kidding when you say this band is underated. I found their first album for free on a table at a festival shortly after it was released. The guy running the booth said no one wanted it and just gave it to me. And so, my love for their music began...
I actually like it when bands have just a simple video that just the band playing. It shows that they actually care about the music and don;t need a video to tell people that.
10 Years, the very definition of an underrated band.
Check out Rise of The Northstar
+kaleb stern oh sweet yeah I'll check 'em out thanks!
4th Order is another underrated band.
+Enderbro11 The lead singer literally came out on stage at Louder than Life in a tank top that said "Who the fuck is Justin Bieber?" Reason #816272927 why they have been favorite band since I was 8.
ROCKaholic I don't see you going out and make music so shut up
I hate how underrated these guys are. Better than most out there. Who else listening in 2019?
I didnt even know they were still around! Listened to the new album and I love it
Retributor 45 🙌🏻💯
not the original band though..
I am ! I only found these guys just under a year ago and I adore them!!
Listening almost 10 Years XD
“10 years”

Underrated comment lol
Today’s the day
@@curve3715 😂😂😂
Have I got some news for you
fuck, an i'm late
my mom always used to play this band and breaking Benjamin when I was little. this was my favorite song when I was around 7 or 8. still is kinda XD
You have a very awesome mom then lol great band
Lucky kid
I discovered them through having my own radio in my room. K-rock used to be the shit. Surprises me when I hear ppls moms are into this kind of rock and then I go to the concerts and then I’m not surprised 😂
@@davidwoody2460 that's debatable but her music taste is 👌
You’re mom is a badass
This whole band’s energy is so captivating live. If you haven’t seen them live. I highly recommend it. Every single person is just killing it. 🤘🏼
Yes they are Absolutely Amazing in concert... Very underated band that has sooooo many songs that never got the radio play they deserved.
i definitely will, these guys are awesome.
The only other band I felt had such an intimate show was Highly Suspect.
Saw them live at a small bar/club. Definitely a unique memory for me
They truly are amazing I’m glad to have seen them in concert 🙌🏼🙌🏼
This band reminds me of Chevelle, especially this song. I love it!
+TrampledNerves Dude, same. I love this band and Chevelle. Perfect bands that know what is going on, I swear. Lmao
- via YTPak(.com)
TrampledNerves I saw them both live together!
every video has a comment like this now...they are like chevelle sorta. chevelle said once they drew inspiration from 10 years
TrampledNerves hey i thought that too
I like both bands, but I like System Of A Down more.
My soulmate took his own life February 25th of 2023. I’m going back now and listening to all his songs, this is one that he played a lot. I've kept mine clean for 8 yrs. I hope I can help him before he does something.
Hard to believe this song has been out for almost 11 years. Still great!
i seen them in 2013. he came out on stage and says, "we are herpe and the heartbreakers. 10 years couldn't make it, i guess the assholes got to drunk to show up". didnt expect that to come out his mouth. He's an awesome and funny dude.
I was at a show in Iowa that year and he said the same thing. He was wearing this white outfit covered in red hearts. I thought that was so fun
Too*
Back in the day bands could only play what their record label approved of suffocating the artist's integrity for greed that's what this song is about
the first time I heard this song-at the beginning I thought "the fuck???" but as soon as it got to the chorus I thought "you know what-its growing on me"
Dude. Same.
Dude. Same.
Same bruh
Seen them twice in concert. They will always be an amazing band
I saw them once, it was my first concert... Eye Empire 10 Years and Seether... One of the greatest moments of my life... That mustache though!
i actually saw them once at exit in here in tenessee and almost a second time not to long ago but man these guys are an aswome band
Just got back from seeing them at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Fucking amazing.
Khandros Verkhovan Yeah they know how to make a show
I saw 10 Years back in 2008 on Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution Tour at the Blossom Music Centre in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, became a fan after their set finished.
His face when he said "feeding the wolf" was the best part. So much emphasis on that line
I actually got to see these guys in Abilene Texas with Chevelle. That's been like 6 years ago, and it was the first time I'd ever heard of them. Been a fan ever since
Watching this in 2020's quarantine... Who's with me?
Sure yeah
make it 2021
I come from the future!!......It doesn't get better....
I don't think I've ever played a single shooter game without listening to this song at least once. :L
almost 6 years old and still one of my favorite songs
+Dakota Kues Same
I didn't know a 6 year old was even interested in this stuff
Ftr I'm 19 and who cares how old a fan is. If they enjoy the music let them enjoy it
Wasteland by 10 Years is my fav song for the last 12 years :D
in 4 years...itll be....
Just woke up singing this in my head. I remember hearing this on the radio all the time. Come to find out it was 10 years ago and I was singing the wrong lyrics lol. Really a great song, burned in my memory for a decade now.
It's so criminal how underrated these guys are. Still, to this day. They have chevelle level of consistently good music.
They get plenty of radio play in Houston, thanks to the awesome people who are on the air for 94.5 the buzz. 10 Years=Epic
2020 and they are still great. My mom was friends with his older sister in high school
This band changed my daughters life forever, for the right ways....
***** I believe it's a Japanese proverb or something of that nature
Evan Williams Ahhh, okay, thank you, I'll look at that up some time later.
***** Japanese Chinese I'm not sure I was curious as to where they came up with the cd title feeding the wolves and I stumbled upon that and also read it in a book
Evan Williams Oh really?
You wouldn't happen to have a link to a site that goes in to detail about this?
I cant get over how I love this boys voice. Love it. ALWAYS have.
I'm pro.
How have I literally never heard of these guys before??
+Mason Harmon
haha
NOBODY has ever heard of ANYTHING until they hear about it. Why are people always saying that? Unless you think you should have been born with all the knowledge of every band that ever has or will exist. "I never heard of them" REALLY? Weird.........
Jason Cripe thank you lol that shit always gets to me like wtf do you expect not everyone listens to the same stuff
it took ya 10 years...
I just found them here tonight, now one of my favourite bands : )
How the fuck have i not heard this Band!!!???!!!???
I used to listen to the song Wasteland by them since 2010 on satellite radio, (on one of the rock stations), when I was traveling; I just looked up the song with lyrics.
Michael Allen youve been out the loop
Wasteland? Heard that when I was 12 10 years ago
Apparently they're not rock enough for rock stations or alt enough for alt stations.
Michael Allen because junk is popular now and groups like this slip through the cracks.
10 years later, if you're watching this you're a legend.🤞🤞
There is no way people think this band is not one of the best rock bands out today they are in my top 3 for sure
When you have RUclips mix on and you remember the words and you haven't heard the songs in years, brings me back to high school lol
saw them live at a local outside venue. Best concert I've been to.
This song came to be randomly as I was laying in bed and I am glad it did.
I'm 42 years old this song kicks ass!
Something tells me this may have been more of a shot at industry controls on artists
Yep, totally agree
Texas Bratt I agree too. They went through hell due to the music industry.
+Texas Bratt Disappointing, hardly any creativity.
+Texas Bratt Actually it is, the record company forced them to change their sound so they made this song to troll them.
I saw them at Ghost Show #6 December 2018. They basically described this song as a middle finger to the industry. (VIP/ Ghost Shows are totally worth the extra money)
I love exploring a band I thought I didn’t know just to find out it was a band I knew and loved
2023 and thankful this band has the catalog they do
There is just so many good music out there these days!! Just can't get enough of it...
I'm the most normal looking person ever but when this song comes on I start screaming and head banging like a psycopath. 🙃
Linna Gary “headbanging like a psychopath” my new favorite simile
2021 just discovered this band not too long ago and I gotta say they are amazing
I discovered them in 2016 and still listen to them up to this day with no regrets
TEN YEARS HAS MY RESPECT, THEY ARE NOT STUCK UP AND ABOUT THE MONEY, I KNOW CUZ THE LEAD SINGER ACTUALLY CAME UP TO ME AND SHOOK MY HAND AND THANKED ME FOR SHOWING UP...
The way his beautiful voluminous hair flips as he headbangs and the way he gets so into the music just uhhh oh my god 😍😍 I'm fangirling.
one of the most underrated bands yet one of the best. cant wait to see them with apocalyptica may 15th culture room in ftl fl
I just found that out the other day. So hopefully the tickets aren't sold out yet
+RockCityXTM i dont believe sold out yet
That laugh at the end though.
Suprised this song isnt one of their top played on spotify
20 years later and I still love these guys. GREAT concert in Illinois last weekend 🤘
Awesome song one of the most underrated bands out there!
the bassist is a badass!
My God. That head-snap at 0:49 is BEAST!
Love this band!!!!
I remember going to a concert when I was little they were playing songs from division
Same except autumn effect haha looks like they still play mostly autumn effect, which is awesome!
Division is one of my favs.I wish i could just see them play.
10 years is Numero uno in my book
Love this band literally every time they come to Spokane I see them
He's so yummi👌🥰 the 1:50- part is amazing 🎶🎶🎶
Been a fan of this band since I first heard wasteland... by proxy, my noe 17 year old son is obsessed with them
Been a Fan since My middle School Days. Found y'all round 2009
I was able to listen to your songs for the first time in Warsaw 7.10.2022 and this one stole my heart! Good job guys!
best vocals in rock. what a band.
+DeathlyHall0w I personally believe Jesse form 10 Years has a fantastic voice, comparable, if not better than, Maynard's.
"Best vocals in rock" is so subjective but I agree, Maynard and Jesse both kick ass. My personal fav for one of the best in rock is Layne Staley.
anyone from 2018 ?
Yasmine Marshall yes
Definitely!!
Yes
Yup!
👍
Who else is here in 2021 also still a good song
I cant believe this song is that old.....jesus i feel old
This is the best music video I've ever seen!
*2016*,*2017*
This is one of the few music videos I have liked enough to watch over and over- it's that good.
This song just kicks my ass!!!!..........live this band!!!!

Jesse always comes really close to us people in the front when he says Your feeding the wolves don't you know better?"he always well the last 3, times I was front of the stage he let's me sing with him, gotta love 10 Years 2,more months see you gentlemen at the Summit
I'll be seeing them in concert in Houston in July. I'm so excited!
Fuck, the leader is such a fuckin' daddy.
+Gracie Cuellar ;-:
+Gracie Cuellar you do know he is gay right?
Why would I care? He's still a daddy LOL. Doesn't mean he's less handsome :P
+A.J Fischer No he's not?...
Stormy Lmao
What happend to his dreads?!?
these guys are amazing! always love when this song comes on
every time i watch or hear this song i get chills!!! omg i LOVE 10 years they need to be on the radio more!!!
New song is Miscellanea. Only 221,951 views. That is bullshit.
I don't think people are actually getting the meaning of the song read the lyrics once
Yeah, people should actually read the lyrics, and try and get the meaning behind it.
WiFiPr0 vlv
I can not believe i just heard this for the first time. Im blown away
This is becoming one of my favorite songs
similar concept to Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine"
This song is about our government killing our innocence without our knowledge......not drugs.
This song was written to appease their record label. The lyrics were actually taking a jab at the label and they didn't get it. This is why they launched their own label Palehorse.
YMAS, and Pro Green did that about Virgin Records lol
Whoever lives in Stupid Boise, is soo lucky cause they get to see 10 Years in concert. See them all in person, at their Concert.
😢❤
2023....July & still effin jams!!
1:04, i wonder if he ever hit his teeth or some shit trying to do that lol
10 Years> Chevelle
You're kidding right?
Jeremy Bianco Nope not kidding. Seen Chevelle twice live one of the worst live bands I've seen. 10 years on the other hand while not among the top bands I've seen live, so much better than Chevelle when it comes to a live show.
Steven Resnick i think you got brain tumor
Better live does not necessarily mean greater than.....jus sayin.
I saw 10 years with Chevelle and they are both great live. But again people are entitled to their opinions
LOVE!
When I listen to this song I hear a situation where a generous person is basically being taken advantage of by their friend or lover what have you until the point that they pretty much bleed them dry.
This song sounds pretty sexual...
it is
No it's not
***** That's your opinion.
Misfit 1 Actual If you think this song is about sex you're not paying attention.
I didn't say this song was about sex...I was referring to the lyrics: "Shoot it, shoot it out 'cause they want it, want it now, now
Shoot it, shoot it out 'cause they want it, want it now." It sounded sexual upon my first hearing of it.
Will you kill what's left of me and stop the bleeding? :D
Y'all aren't kidding when you say this band is underated. I found their first album for free on a table at a festival shortly after it was released. The guy running the booth said no one wanted it and just gave it to me. And so, my love for their music began...
What?
You're fucking kidding right?
Nah. 100% serious. I'm not complaining, though. :)
Taylor Bailey That's crazy! Who in the right mind would leave a masterpiece laying around for someone else to pick up like trash? o-o
I actually like it when bands have just a simple video that just the band playing. It shows that they actually care about the music and don;t need a video to tell people that.
WILL YOU KILL WHATS LEFT OF ME AND STOP THE BLEEDING?!?!
I'm ready to die
Holy shit. Jesse's voice is amazing!
I love this song
