This track is off ASTERISM’s upcoming digital album “Animetic” to be released on September 9, 2022.
The album includes metal instrumental covers of theme songs from the 2000s viral anime series that are selected by the members themselves.
ASTERISM is an instrumental metal band of three young musicians, HAL-CA (Gt; age 19), MIYU (Ba; age 20), and MIO (Dr; age 22), who aim to “break new ground in heavy metal.” The three have been interacting with music fans around the world through heavy metal since 2014.
As the band’s new challenge in 2022, they set foot into the new frontier that combines Anime songs, one of the representative cultures of Japan, and heavy metal instrumental arrangements together with ASTERISM’s outstanding instrument performance techniques.

Been exploring the Japanese music universe a little while now. Born and raised, in the US, on Swing, Blues, Jazz, Rock, R&B, Soul, Funk music. Man, Japanese musicians definitely have and play with "soul"! The reason their sounds are appealing to us old-timers willing to listen. Really a pleasure. Azasu!

Like all Asterism songs, this is coherently and musically arranged and flawlessly executed. Love that the drummer switches to traditional grip for the first swing interlude.

Yeah original by Oral Cigarettes, big hit in Japan. It was already a good song to begin with but Asterism made it their own

Right after watching Loudness concert dan see Akira Takasaki shredding his guitar, little Hal-Ca (9 or 10 yo) decide to be a guitarist, before that she want to be a drummer
