In this video Shane from Waynes Barbershop does a step by step skin fade, using a Oster 76er machine using metal guard attachments. In most cases barbers use clippers with plastic guards. Shane is cutting hair the old school classic way. Years ago barbers would only use there metal guards because it is way more sanitary. Its always good to learn how to cut and fade hair different ways. To start the fade haircut Shane starts with a t outliner to create a skin line. Next he creates a his first guide line. He then moves on to removing the guide line with his standard clipper, followed by scissors. Yes shane blends the line out with just scissors!
