do you think we can "repair" it by adjusting the two(even 3) screws ?
The short answer is I don't know. But the longer answer is that I think over time the thermocouple pipe corrodes and won't drive the bellows to the stat. So no amount of adjustment could correct it. You might correct me though, I am no expert. I do think that the tiny price I paid for a new stat was worth it given the constant and necessary use I get from this machine!
Worth a look, 10 mins well spent to find out how it works. Was the failure diagnosed ?
I reckon the pipe was corroded. A leak and hence no pressure on the bellows. I’m making it up. Can’t say I thought to make such a diagnosis. There was no arcing on the contacts.
how is the pin out of ranco K59 ?
I can't remember, but it should be easy enough to figure out from the spec sheet.
@@bootsowen I came across this description 4-6 closed when hot, 6-3 open when off, what would it mean in a fridge ? say 4-6 turns the compressor motor on ? no idea
what would this description possibly mean : 4-3 closed when hot, 6-3 open when off ? do I have to disconnect if from the fridge in order to test it ?@@bootsowen
