Good job, Allen . I thought your 1st wash plant was pretty cool, but with your latest invention, I think you've hit a home run . I have scoured the internet for the past 10 years, looking for the ultimate gold possessing setup . One just past the hobbiest level . You have a great setup. I hope you have great success . Happy holidays, and God bless you and yours .
Well thank you very much for the high remarks ! Much appreciated ! Hopefully, some day, everyone will own a Gold Rattler. Lol ! Best to you and family this Holiday ! 🎅🎄🎁👍

I truly admire the gold rattler Allan, but by crickey it’s a whole lotta work for just a small pay day. I do understand in the right place there may be better pay days. But to haul all that gear and water etc for just a gram a day, is it really going to pay that unit off in a year? It does look like a lot of fun though. Cheers buddy.
Thank you so much for your great comments ! I agree. Depends on your situation. If you are casually taking it out for a day or two per month.... No. However, if you are serious about operating a few days, then it is worth every penny. If one has an active claim yielding about a gram/yard, run only 2 yards/day (80 gallons/day), operating 5 days/week, with gold at $2400, it will pay for itself in less than two months. Also, one needs to consider whether you want to recover 99% of the visible gold with the Gold Rattler, or leave 25-40% behind by using a dry washer ? On another point, dry washing is seasonal, while the Gold Rattler allows you to mine rain or shine ! Best of luck to you Prospecting !!
Very good question. A dry washer is only 60 - 70% recovery efficiency in best conditions. The physics can't support anything greater. Water recovery methods is far more efficient at +98%. This creates an interesting paradox. A dry washer is simple and easy to use, requiring less support equipment, and ideal for arid environments. While a wash plant needs many extras, including water to be hauled in. This has been the mission of this channel. To bridge the gap with a machine that will out perform any dry washing method long term. Let's say both dry washer and wash plant operating at maximum condition efficiency, and both process 10 yards of material containing 1 gram/yd, the dry washer will yield 7 grams of gold, while a wash plant will recover 9.8 grams or more. That's over $220 more ! As time goes on, a wash plant will out pace a dry washer. Furthermore, dry washing is very seasonal, while a wash plant is not, provided the water doesn't freeze. 🤔👍 So, while a dry washer sits idle because the ground is too damp, a wash plant can proceed processing material at high efficiency regardless of environmental conditions. Again, great question, and thanks for asking ! Best of luck to you prospecting ! 🤠⚒️⛏️👍
@@allansgoldmining man 60 to 70% I struggle to think they are that inefficient. I’ve heard many positive thoughts on dry washing in general and all those that’s nice I ride a motorcycle in most days I can’t haul that on my current setup yet. I hear what your saying I’m just wondering about the in best case 60-70% that seems pretty bad.
On part of my claim, there are dry washer tailings from the 1960's running about .7 grams/yd. They missed a lot. Found several nuggets in their pile. One of them was 1.1 grams ! It's fun to process with wash plant, because they did all the hard work digging up the ground. Lol !!
Dry washers are good prospecting tools. Simple, easy to use, and very portable. I love my dry washer. Use it to discover good ground. Once I find it, I bring in the wash plant to maximize recovery. 👍
Marry Xmas. When are going to be selling the wash plant I live in NV so would work great. Thanks for all your hard work on it and showing us all the new ways you found to make it work best
Great video and what a fantastic piece of equipment. I wish I could get onto some gold so I could think about upgrading my equipment. I am still baffled on where I should be sampling. Some people are telling me to stay out of the washes and others say to stay in them. I am mainly prospecting in the Morristown area and the Stanton area. I just need to know if I should be taking my samples out of the washes, sides of the washes, or up on the hill sides. I am still baffled on exactly where. Thanks for any guidance you can give me. Would like to find a 1/4 to a 1/2 a gram a day if possible. Thanks for your help!! Red
Consistency is the key. I would prospect both. The old saying.... "Gold is where you find it." I've propspected up there and found good gold. Unfortunately, most of the good spots are claimed. So you need to check which claims are no longer valid after New Year, then prospect them. Good luck out there ! 🤠⚒️⛏️👍

Just might do that. I'm up in Lost Basin.... I'm averaging 1 to 1.5 grams per cubic yard on this spot. One day I got 2.4 grams ! A cubic yard is about 42 five gallon buckets.
