Ice T told a story about filming this movie, that when they were preparing for that scene, the prop department gave Busey a plastic knife to use, and he proceeded to throw it away and pull out a real hunting knife that he had brought along, and insisted on using it in the scene. So assuming the story is true, just be aware while watching that scene that Ice T wasn't acting, he was fucking terrified.

Ice-T's first acting gig? Are we not forgetting a little movie called New Jack City?
Also, no self-respecting bad movie lover still hates Alien 3. You need to watch it again, especially the Assembly Cut so the supporting characters are more fleshed out.

Stewart Copeland, the drummer from The Police, did the musical score for that movie.
He has done that for decades now.

I had a friend named George who looked exactly like Ice Ts' character in this and we lived near Seattle, he wasn't amused and in fact the movie scared the crap out of him.

I mean this as a compliment, Ice-T is one of those celebrities that you absolutely love, but you can’t think of a single thing they have done that was good. Honestly I can’t think of a movie, song, or tv-show that he has done that is good but I love his work for some reason and want to see more!

One of the best straight to video classics ever. Endless lines and brilliant over the top performances from all. This film was a big part of my teens and me and mates likes nothing better than sticking this VHS in and laughing our arses off.
    It’s better than Hard Target.

I Googled formaldehyde. It's extremely flammable, but only explosive when mixed with air. Films never do explosions realistically so I don't think the makers of STG can really be criticised for their exploding liquid formaldehyde.
