Thank you for the feedback!!:) So, I was asked this question a couple of times.. To be honest, I think many "RUclips pianists" are trying this approach, but I really just want to instruct & give helpful advice - which youtube pianists dont give when they are just performing. So I just play a bit from the piece to introduce it in my videos, but my focus is really on helping rather than performing. But of course, I do perform in real life when im playing a recital or in a concert.
Great tip with the grouping, using it for Ravel's jeux d'eau. Also, your tutorial for the revolutionary etude was very helpful. This channel is so underated!
Thank you so much Petor! This grouping method was a game changer for me. You can apply it to almost anything that has this this structure, but of course it can be 3 notes, 5 notes, or even just 2 notes, depending on the piece or passage. And thanks again for your support:)
This is extremely helpful 🙏..Thank You. One question ( actually 2 ))..Is it possible for U to do similar video with exercises but for Prelude no 16 by Chopin please. That would be very cool. IfUCan'tatTheMomentits fine😊But...would U say that practice right hand with groupings without looking and then focus on the left hand big jumps by looking at it? I know it is much more complex but i thought id ask. All the best and This channel is brilliant ))
I could do that in the future! its a very famous piece. But i have never played it, so I will need to see if I have time to practice it. Definitely I would practice the right hand in groups similar to this etude. And yes, there are left hand jumps, but those can be prepared well with the arm movement.. a bit difficult to explain, but I think if I make a video about it, it could be easier. For now, just practice in groups and do the same methods I used here, then at least you will get the right hand speed:)
Thank you! Ah, I played that, but long time ago. Sure, I will add it to my list of pieces! But dont hold your breath, because theres a lot of other topics I also need to cover haha. thanks!
Wow, it never occurred to me to "split" the right hand lower harmonies with the left hand like that for the bars starting at the 4:19 mark. It makes it tremendously easier to play with good clarity and balance! Such an amazing tip! Thanks for sharring!
@@PianoTechSupportBut are you really allowed to do that? Like academically if I’m participating in a contest, will they count it as “not playing what Chopin wrote” or anything like that? Thanks a lot!
Hey Tech Support! So I realise I'm asking a general question because I really don't know where else to go! I really enjoyed the video and I realise this is a little selfish of me, but I'm a relatively new pianist who had lessons for two years before covid stopped me from taking my grade 4 exam moving onto grade 5, and I'm now without a teacher. What would you recommend for improving (obviously not to play this piece) but to improve my overall piano playing, I'm completely at a loss and I thought to ask you! Should I just get a teacher and go from there?
Hey Ali! sure no problem, I'm glad to help out. So I would say you should look at the pieces / the level of repertoire that is needed for the next grade. maybe you can do a mock exam and go through the things for yourself. in general, you need to be working on your repertoire and also exercises and technical things if youre still intermediate. actually, the best advice I can give you is to be around people who are doing the same thing, and can tell you their experience. my discord server (which is now public to.join) is with people from different fields and levels at the piano, and also I can write you there and we can continue chatting/ giving advice 😁
It's about a good connection with the keys, feel the keys really close like a racecar sticks to the road. Most people play a lot from the "air" but I think the hand needs to be really in there
Chopin 🐐
Thanks so much Leo, you have a great channel yourself btw, just checked it out :D
@@PianoTechSupport much appreciated!
finally u return with another quality video! Keep it up champ
Thank you!! I believe this one has been requested for a while now haha
Do you intend to make a channel entirely for performances? Your playing sounds so good!

@@PianoTechSupport Thank You very much for this 😊 This is encouraging🙏 I will practice like that for now ) )
Keep up the excellent work!
Thank you Armand! I checked out your channel, loved the Pathetique upload !:)
@@PianoTechSupport that's very kind of you, thank you!🙂🙏
Thank you for describing the practice techniques so clearly! they are helpful also for my instrument :D
Thanks for the comment Marlies :D glad it helps, and also welcome to the channel!
Great video! Could you make a tutorial on moment musicaux no. 4 by rachmaninoff?

Please do Op.25 No.5 etude and Op.25 No.11 etude! we are waiting for them
This Etude seems to be inspired from Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata's Presto Agitato.
How do you get the left hand as fit as the right hand to play those left hand runs in bar 14 and on?

I Just watch this video to SEE if you change fingering in some bares
