That made the start of my day. What a lot of beautiful layouts they had. From America so to far to come but you helped me to enjoy it through your eyes. GOD BLESS from America 🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕
And this was only about half of the layouts on display! It was really tricky to cover everything as the show was incredibly busy. Thanks for watching 😃
Don't forget Warley never used to fill the whole hall either. But yes the show was about 1/3 smaller I believe. That said, I still think there was plenty to enjoy, I'd much prefer quality over quantity any day. Thanks for watching 😃
My personal ambition is to create a model of the Volk’s Electric Railway in Brighton. It’s a gorgeous project to bring to the attention of railway modellers to an unusual little railway in a gorgeous location.
Yes I know the Volk's Railway fairly well - I've travelled on it in the past. Best of luck with the project, sounds like a good challenge. Thanks for watching 😃
Glad you enjoyed the video. Ah yes, I'm glad we got the sound working the second time round. I was a bit knackered but hopefully still somewhat understandable 😅 Thanks for watching 👍
Very impressive, That Model Railway Guy. The LMS Garrett is quite a piece of work. Some of the samples, though, look terrific, especially the Vale of Rheidol models. Say, maybe there's a new career for you as a driver!
Brinklow is a great layout all over! I believe we had it at the Spa Valley exhibition a few years ago and it was a highlight of the show for me. Thanks for watching 😃
It's great to see the LEGO groups gaining in popularity over the last few years instead of just being regarded as a toy. The scale/materials has so much potential. Thanks for watching 😃
It's definitely one to keep an eye on. It'll be interesting to see how it develops now that Warner's can learn from this year's event. Thanks for watching 👍
Great video, Joe. 👍 Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the show. I planned to be there, but Storm Bert put an end to any plans I had. I was really gutted 😕.
It's sad a lot of people's plans were put to an end by the storm. Even more frustratingly was that in Birmingham the weather was mostly fine... a bit wet perhaps but nothing crazy. Thanks for watching 😃
If you can stay overnight I'd definitely recommend it! Even being there for two full days I still felt I had to pick specific things to focus on in order to see what I wanted to. Thanks for watching 😃
At events centres you hire the space based on how much floor space you use. While some areas could have been better spaced out there's no point hiring out the entire hall if you're not going to use it - especially as it would inevitably be reflected in the ticket price. Bear in mind as well that the open areas were actually used for unloading/loading before and after the show so that it could be done inside and not out in the rain. Hope you enjoyed the show and thanks for watching 😃
It's been referred to that behind closed doors since it's inception to be honest. I know one of the manufacturers was referring to it as that before the official announcement was even made because they didn't know what the show was actually going to be named. Thanks for watching 👍
Just the one but as with any new scale it'll take time for layouts to be built that are up to exhibition standards. Who knows, maybe Teaton will be there next year. Thanks for watching 😃
Thank you so much for taking the time to come and see us and then to feature our layout - it was lovely to meet you.
My pleasure, was great to see your layout especially as there wasn't much 009 at the show. Thanks for watching 😃

Nice to have a chat with you at the weekend, it was a great show :)
Likewise! I'm sure I'll be in touch about my currently "super secret" project at some point 😅 Glad you had a good weekend. Thanks for watching 👍
Runaway wagon at the end! 😂 Great to see so many superb examples of modelling artistry.
There was definitely a lot of fantastic modelling on display - it was hard to know where to look! Thanks for watching 😃
This was smaller than Warley judging on the big space at the back of the room. Awesome video mate!
Don't forget Warley never used to fill the whole hall either. But yes the show was about 1/3 smaller I believe. That said, I still think there was plenty to enjoy, I'd much prefer quality over quantity any day. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy From the two videos I watched, it looked awesome!

It was certainly a great show. It was also nice meeting you in person too.
Likewise! I had lots of great conversations throughout the weekend. Thanks for watching 😃
Really excellent video. Great that you focus on the layouts.
Glad you enjoyed it! That's generally why I go to exhibitions so most of my videos tend to focus on the modelling on display. Thanks for watching 😃
Once again, thank you for sharing this - I live too far away literally 1000s of km, so its great to see it!
My pleasure, it was a great weekend and nice to see Warner's continuing on the tradition of having a show at the NEC. Thanks for watching 😃
Great video. Nice to see the layouts as I wasn’t able to go. Saw your interview with Jenny. Thanks.

7:00 water features look great on this model !

I love the Lego layouts on display at Warnerley!! It just happens that I look after one of those at the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport.
It's great to see the LEGO groups gaining in popularity over the last few years instead of just being regarded as a toy. The scale/materials has so much potential. Thanks for watching 😃
I MUST go to this show next year!! I couldn’t this year because I had no transport with which to get purchases home to Hertfordshire!!
It's definitely one to keep an eye on. It'll be interesting to see how it develops now that Warner's can learn from this year's event. Thanks for watching 👍

I have to put this on my 2025 must see list.. NEC is a long way but looks like it would be worth the trip..
If you can stay overnight I'd definitely recommend it! Even being there for two full days I still felt I had to pick specific things to focus on in order to see what I wanted to. Thanks for watching 😃
Your vids are stoking my imagination.. a couscous quarry, industrial site.. less messy than crushed coal..🤣
Glad to hear it! There's nothing quite like a good set of exhibition layouts to get the imagination fired up. Thanks for watching 😃
Was a bit crowded , they had another half of hall to play with. Not sure why they cram it all into a small section . Thanks for my badge tho 👍🏻👍🏻

20:02 its my loco!
Amazing! Glad we got it on camera, just for you 😉 Thanks for watching 👍
On Jenny Kirk’s channel, it’s known as “Warnerley”!!
It's been referred to that behind closed doors since it's inception to be honest. I know one of the manufacturers was referring to it as that before the official announcement was even made because they didn't know what the show was actually going to be named. Thanks for watching 👍
Really cool model show. 👍
There was certainly something for everyone! Thanks for watching 😃
I can’t tell from video.. was there much tt120 layouts??
Just the one but as with any new scale it'll take time for layouts to be built that are up to exhibition standards. Who knows, maybe Teaton will be there next year. Thanks for watching 😃
A shame you didn't film the NCMA layout
I did, at 20:26. Thanks for watching 👍
