What I don't understand is, the creepage distance on these insulators at these voltages is in the order of decimeters, yet they're all smooth and much shorter than I'd expect. Do you suffer a lot of losses? Or am I overlooking something?

Sir 1) in the circuit of Marx generator There are 2 charging resistors used for each stage but in practical only 1 charging resistor why ? 2) Wave shaping resistors are 10 nos ( 5 for R1 & 5 for R2) why & is connected to each stage or at the end only ? 3) but in theory circuit only 2 wave shaping resistors connected after the final gap so why this difference create between in theory circuit & practical & what are the changes by doing this ? Sir kindly request to u Please give information about this 4) where is the final gap ?

What is the difference between 3 series (c= 0.333µF) and 2 parallel x 3 series ( c = 0.666µ F)? Please
